I love how the video started out unlisted so that just a few people had all the time in the world to find the codes before it was even officially released. I was among those who found the unlisted video, and all the codes were already taken 20 minutes before the V-log was publicly released. The stupidity of the Tanki X administration in the distribution of codes is beyond description. Please, start distributing them fairly and to players who would actually contribute to the test, instead of random people on facebook who can't even turn their turret. Nearly every single other game in closed beta access has a form that one fill out to apply to join. TankiX just has a way that you can register an email for potential beta access. Do they ask for your language? Your experience with Tanki Online? Your computer specifications? Anything at all? No. The only thing the beta test is achieving is a stress-test to be sure that the server can support several hundred players at once. There is no way to report bugs/glitches, no way to give feedback, and the system for acquiring an invite is completely arbitrary. Furthermore, TankiX has said that they "want to give out as many goodies to old players as they can" but they aren't even letting us transfer our accounts. Believe me, our accounts won't be transferable- its been a year and a half and they still haven't answered the question. They might give old players something, but certainly not their entire garage. Still don't believe me? See this post by a TankiX developer on the TankiX forum: If you want to make older players happy, send invite codes to players who have been active for several years, not 11-year-olds on facebook who can neither turn their turret nor speak English. Give beta access to those who have had experience with the game and who would actually advance the progress of the game. Not only will it make everyone happier, but it will also turn TankiX beta into a much more effective test. Nevertheless, this isn't going to happen. Do you want to know why? Its because TankiX is actively attempting to give invite codes to people who contribute nothing. They want to create an entirely new playerbase for TankiX, by screwing over old TO players to convince them to stick in Flash, and giving invite codes to "random noobs" who wouldn't have contributed any revenue to Tanki Flash by buying crystals. They want to have their cake and eat it too, by having all the TO players who buy crystals stick in TO, and recruiting new TX players to buy crystals in TX. I don't necessarily dislike the fact that the TankiX release is essentially just a money-making scheme. But I do resent the outright manipulation and betrayal of old players. I am very hopeful about our new CM Cedric- he has already proven himself far more communicative and interactive with the community at large than Semyon ever was. Perhaps things can change, and perhaps I am wrong. And yes, I have emerged from the shadows again....

There actually weren't any logical flaws in his post, although the truth of his post is disputable. However, what you are using is a logical fallacy known as the Equivocation Fallacy. Chat Mods may or may not be players, depending on your definition. But you are changing the definition in order to disprove his point. As for the subject of Chat Mods' skill in the battlefield, I can testify that they are, in fact, very good. In the official Players vs Helpers contest a few months ago, the Reporter team faced the Chat Mods to determine what staff team would play against the players. Let's just say that we were rekt.

I would write a long rant but it appears my work has been done for me. This article just emphasizes the arrogance and naivety displayed in nearly all of Chrysalis's articles. His articles from before he was accepted as a reporter were a world away from what I'm reading now. This also goes to show the growing alienation between staff members and regular players. I can't begin to describe how bad this article is. The arguments used were atrocious, the logic unfounded, and the statements were insulting not to mention baseless. And the worst thing of all-- I actually agree with the idea that 40% isn't that big of a deal. But this article did the exact opposite of convincing me of this, and more. Say goodbye to the last grains of respect that I once had for you.

Essentially, Generalissimo is the highest rank one can achieve in a military. If Tanki were to stay true to real life, the highest ranks a tanker would achieve would be Sergeants and Lieutenants. Obviously Generals, Major Generals and Marshals are not driving tanks about the battlefied; they are commanding troops rather than actually doing the physical fighting. Also, Generalissimo is not necessarily defined as being a commander of an Army, Navy and Air Force. In Italian, all Generalissimo means is "the highest ranking of all generals." I am so enlightened. Seriously Darren, why in the world did you accept him into your group. Can't agree more with the above quote. Everything Hero has ever written was either incorrect, incomprehensible, or plagiarized. I wouldn't be surprised at all if everything he writes is actually google translated. And he didn't even apply when applications were open.

The staff members are not corrupt. I don't know any staff members who are in it just for the crystals, in fact I would go as far as to say that the staff members don't care about the crystals. I am an ex "staff" member, a Reporter once. I know that the people I worked with were some of the least greedy people I know, and I can vouch that every one of them would continue being a Reporter even if there wasn't any pay. I would have been a Reporter without any salary. There is a reason the staff does not publicly state the amount staff members are payed. For one, now a bunch of people will apply simply because they want the money. Also, it makes people believe the staff is corrupt, which is not true. The censorship plaguing tanki is not the Moderator's creation. It comes from higher up. I think that almost every English staff member does not approve of the censorship we have seen over the past few days. The English Staff is not corrupt. There may be a few exceptions out there, but I highly doubt it. I can't speak for the English or Russian communities, however. It is very difficult to become a staff member, and the administrators do not seek players who only want crystals. Premium account, on the other hand, do suck.
