I really enjoyed the War. I feel like the biggest problem was that not everyone understood the rules and mechanics, leading to odd attack/defense strategies. I think that if you couldn't select to defend territories that can't be attacked then this would help. Way too many people wasted votes to defend inner cities. The system to determine whether you were active in battle should be reworked. If I was stuck in a battle with 5 minutes left and I was on the losing side I usually wouldn't get stars because the enemies were killing us too fast or I simply didn't have enough time to get enough kills or captures. If the system could be adjusted to take into account how much time you were actually in the battle it would help. You obviously can't get the same amount of kills in 2 minutes as in 10, so the system shouldn't expect you to. Also, some way to make the War last longer, I really enjoyed this and feel like it ended too soon. Good job to Lions for winning, good job to Wolves for fighting hard, and good job to my fellow Bears for never giving up in the face of defeat. :)

been playing assault a lot while it's out, every time I'm on Red and hear the siren I think, "30 seconds to capture 2-3 flags." when on Blue I think, "30 seconds to try and get into Red's base and get a lot of spawn kills." other times I just try to go around the map where the gold doesn't usually drop, since I know I have next-to-no chance of getting it if I'm not the third person, and see if I can get the gold while everybody else is running around the tree and bridges, but tend to not try and kill unless I need a lot of kills/points.

Campers, useless campers everywhere who are about to be flanked and crushed. Granted, I'm mostly talking about those ***** shafts who sit in scope mode with their beams pointed right on the flag, (and are almost always spotted and killed by the first capper who comes.) but my point still stands. The respawn makes more than 1 single defender, (the turtle) downright destructive to a team. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for preventing my enemies from getting the flag, but it's MUCH more effective to do that from a dynamic midfield position. WHO CARES if you die in the middle after destroying the first enemy in a 4 man convoy, because you will respawn back at your base to finish the rest of them off alongside your turtle. 2 lives for the price of 1. GET IT? "No"? Well, think of this, an enemy spawns and spends 20 seconds charging across the ground to reach your base. What do you during that time if you are a defender? Answer: NOTHING! You give your enemy a whole 20 seconds where they don't have to worry about being attacked. They get to make an attempt on your flag without recompense. So what if you stop them 19 times out of 20, they are still beating you because you are taking 0 flags out of 0 attempts,

So, I was right. My best strategy with hornet and smoky is to play "chicken" before I get too much damage and circle strafe it to death.
