I'd say you would probably rank up to Colonel by Tankman Day. Maybe if you play a lot you might be able to get to Colonel earlier than that. Smoky M2 costs a fortune, so unless you're a buyer, you should wait for a 50% sale.

There is no really best M1, but based on stats, I'd say: Twins, Thunder or Railgun (In no particular order) It really depends on your play style. I'm a Hornet fan :) You need to give us more info, what's your favorite gun, do you like attacking, midfielding, or defending? What upgrades do you have already? As mentioned above, there really is no best turret, but my favorite are: Thunder, Firebird, Railgun, Smoky. Also, what stages do you like to play in? Yay! Actually, if you really like offense, I'd recommend Hornet, perfect for drugging, taking the flag and making a quick getaway. It's still your choice. Hornet M1 is cheaper, though ;)

I'm just wondering if I should get Hornet M2. It's quite cheap compared to other M2s, so I'll probably get Firebird M2 first, then see what happens. I'll be gone on vacation over summer break, and when I come back I will get my Welcome Back Gift, and then I will be able to buy Hornet M2. Hopefully ^_^

Nah, it was a 5 person DM in Silence, I was the only one waiting on that ramp, all the other people were over by the short ramp xD There were no shafts in the battle. 3 railguns, 1 firebird and me!

I'd recommend Mammoth. I still think Titan is good, but if Mammoth is getting nerfed, it's only fair that Tanki will nerf Titan. At M3, Titan trades 44 health for only 0.6 speed. The extra 0.6 isn't really gonna help you get out of the enemy base, especially since Titan is quite large. Mammoth, has 44 extra health, and that extra health can help it survive maybe an extra 5 seconds - long enough for an isida to come over, or for your health pack to finish reloading.

Mammoth is a great hull with Smoky, Viking works too, but it's M3 really sucks. Wasp is actually pretty good with it, believe it or not! I used to use it with both Mammoth and Wasp, at M1, it really pwns the noobs. But now I'm playing against really high ranked people, it's just not that good. I suggest you get a different combo, then work to get Smoky M2, because Smoky M1 just really sucks when fighting against high ranked people. At M2, it can really put up a good fight though. It seems that you're still quite a while from getting Smoky M2, so I would recommend Isida to get xp.

I'm planning to get Firebird M2 before Hornet M2. Or should I save up for Firebird M2 first? It's probably gonna be hard ranking up to Major in 3 months. ^_^ Although I am quite close to ranking up right now., But then, if I miss that sale I guess I'll have to wait for something like Tank man Day -_- Also, do you by any chance happen to have an idea of what the discount percentage will be? Well, Hornet is my personal favorite, because it's good for me - I'm a sniper, and sometimes I play around with my Thunder and go camping. It suits Thunder, Railgun and Firebird, my 3 favorite weapons. Viking is cool too, although it is relatively slow at M3 compared to other tanks. Viking works well with Thunder and Rail, but maybe not so well with Firebird, but since you said you use Thunder and Railgun, that means Viking is good for you. Another good thing about Hornet is M2 and M3 unlock relatively early. I am about to rank, and I need 22k more for Hornet M2. If you like camping, by all means use Viking. :)

As mentioned before, currently, the most OP M2's are: Smoky, Firebird, Twins. (In no particular order) After the new physics, I have heard that Twins will be nerfed - thus making it less OP. M2 Smoky is good, but it unlocks at Colonel, and is the most expensive, whereas Firebird M2 is 20k cheaper, and unlocks at Major, 2 ranks earlier than Smoky M2.

Hunter goes well on both, but if you are a hardcore camper, use hunter. But if you switch sniping spots often, I suggest Hornet. Hunter M1 has a nice boost from M0 to M1, which is pretty good. M3 unlocks really late, though.

I'm not an admin, but after the MU upgrade, I'd say hunter is still pretty good. When I played on the test server, my top hulls were: Hornet, Hunter, and Wasp. Hunter is an all rounder, but with less health and more speed than viking. What gun do you plan to use it with? Although it pretty much goes well with everything.

Hmmm, so you're saying Firebird M2 first?? Just came out of an Island TDM, one of my teammates was a Major, still had Hornet and Railgun M1 (No idea why he was using Railgun in Island). Then, my other teammate was also Major, but he had Hornet M2, and Firebird M2. Hornet M2 unlocks at Second Lieutenant, and I'm about to rank. Also, considering that I have 3 more ranks from Second Lieutenant to get to Major, that gives me plenty of time to get 94k crystals. Also, there might be a discount sometime. So I actually think it's smarter to get Hornet M2 first, then save up for Firebird M2. PS. Thanks for your input. Although, can you suggest to me a M2 combo around Major? Most likely they would have to be stuff I already have M1. I'm probably not gonna do railgun, though. I was thinking maybe Firebird, since my friend Smash95 got Firebird M2, 1 day before the 50% sale. :) I'm probably gonna get Firebird M2 on a sale, and I heard that Smoky and Firebird M2 are the most OP.

Which M2 should I save up for? I really like Smoky M3, since I tried it on the test server. My garage: Smoky M1, Firebird M1, Railgun M1, Thunder M1, Shaft M1, Ricochet M1, Hornet M1, Wasp M1, Mammoth M1, Titan M1. 4k crystals :o My current combo/most frequently used: Railgun+Hornet, Thunder+Hornet, Smoky+Wasp. Main paint: Forester. I'm thinking about Smoky M2, to use later with Wasp. ( I used it on the test server and I love it :lol: ) Although Smoky M2 unlocks at colonel and costs quite a fortune. And so does wasp. I don't really like Railgun anymore, after I got Thunder M1, and I don't like Thunder that much after looking at it's M3 stats. True, but still, you do need to have decent upgrades on your gun, eg. you can't drug with isida m0 and hornet m0. The last part of your statement is true, since to upgrade, you need crystals, and crystals come from money.

M2 is good. M3... meh, not so sure, but, still it's not that bad. In test server, the most common paints were Prodigi, Picasso, Zeus, Emerald and Needle.
