IMO Shaft is better with Mediums and Heavies but if I used it with a light it would be Wasp. You are not going to stay in the middle of a map with a Hornet. Instead, you will stay to the sides. In some maps there are areas that are highly inaccessible but hulls expect for Wasp. They usually are small gaps that it is hard to shot from. But with Shaft, you can get a nice clear shot and it will be hard to see a Wasp.
