Actually if TO wants to make real money they need to put a server in Southern California USA. West Coast folks are not complete idiots and they know the 172ms PING rates they get mean they are doomed before they start, so why invest when you ave such a huge handi cap. BELIEVE IT.

IDEA: A COMPASS ROSE For Maps with; CARDINAL POINTS = N E S W HALF-CARDINAL POINTS = NE SE SW NW INTERMEDIATE POINTS = NNE ENE ESE SSE SWS WSW WNW NNW It is hard to direct fire or send a squad to a certain part of a map without a coordinate system. Perhaps a BIG compass rose in the middle of all maps so the troops can see it or maybe in the clouds (skybox)? or press a keyboard key for a map to appear showing your heading . (I so wish there was a GIANT MAP where even a good player only can get a few kills in 15 minutes. Where you have to run headings and deal w/ bearings etc. How fun would that be. Integrate ALL MAPS w/ tunnels and hills and valleys perhaps or just make one new HUGE MAP. That is another suggestion) Some things I might use it for; MEET ME IN THE NW CORNER! THROTTLED SERVERS to make it more FAIR. Or how about a server in the Los Angeles area. Or how about a filter that only allows people from my area so we all have the same handicap. There is a country club in the forum, I did try to find local players, I think there has been one reply so far, no one reads the country club thing... How many players are on the USA west coast? I bet a LOT . How about a server where all ping times are equal? A server that throttles back all players to the slowest ping time player. I do not know the answer, all I know is I would be WAY more active and be willing to spend a LOT more money if I knew it was a level playing field. Everytime I log on I do it almost unwillingly fore I know I will be slaughtered. I have a SEVER handicap being on the west coast of the USA. My ping time averages 172ms . That is a lifetime in MMO. I see tanks turn away from me while I am still alive because they see me just get killed. I get off shots before others but I die first. My KD ratio is absolutely horrible because of it. The only way I can fight is from afar where unseen or I am DEAD. I get one-shot regularly. I can't escape. I HATE having to play like a camper in snipe mode whenever possible. I have tried everything. I have the dedicated Tanki Client, I shut off all other processes on my box, I am hard wired to router,I am simply too far away from the servers. Tanki knows this, they even disclose it HERE. Scroll to the bottom and look at the huge red ATTENTION warning box. It matters little if I upgrade. I have M2 hulls, M2 Turretts and my THUNDER is fully Altered up. I press buttons and it takes forever to get a reaction on screen. I just went to buy crystals. Normally I could get a litle over 700Thousand crystals for about 99 dollars. Today I could get about a 1/3 of that for 70 dollars. I am VERY sad. If I am reading Similarweb correct, USA usage is DOWN from over 18%. USa is stil the 4th biggest consumer of Tanki bandwidth w/ hundreds more countries well below it. I bet ya I can tell you why the drop....HIGH PING , it is brutal. Once you realize no amount of Alterations or Ranking Up will help you, you really loose interest. Couple that with the MULTs they refuse to do anything about and it is really sad. I sent a video AND an animation showing a hacker shooting thru walls and from over teh edge in Silence and tehy didn't even look at the video, they said I needed to provide a video and my animation I put together from a frame by frame grab from the vide I SUPPLIED, they said it was no good! My KD rate would be HUGE different if I had a respectable ping rate. Look at the massive lost revenue if I am correct in this assumption.

Magnum is WAyyyyy to powerful in the hands of a skilled player. I just leave if there is a skilled Magnum player anymore, it is almost impossible to fight back. LIMIT THE LOWER ANGLE TO 10 DEGREES to start, so we at least have a chance! Howitzers are NOT for close battle IRL but because the angle will go down to 0 degrees they just DESTROY everyone they aim at. EVERYONE THEY AIM AT IS DEAD, AS FAST AS IT RELOADS SOMEONE DIES! NOT FAIR.

Looking for USA West Coast Players. We have a HUGE disadvantage playing Tanki. That is our high ping rate. You can not change physics / the HUGE distance we are from the server. Tanki even discloses this fact, read all about it here; https://en.tankiwiki.com/Ping I use the Windows standard CMD Prompt and NOT what you see on the Tanki game window ,IE, the FPS and PING readings bottom right of play window, if you have it turned on in Tanki settings. I do not rely upon the FPS and PING reader in-game. PING ingame readings seem to be about 1/3 of what CMD Prompt says, I think I will believe my CMD Prompt first. I have an "average" ping of 172ms, no wonder I am always killed so fast, no wonder my KD is so bad, no wonder, when I KNOW I got a shot off first, it never hits... The only way I can see to resolve this is playing against opponents that are the same distance from the server as me. SO it would be great to have a list of tankers who live on the USA west coast. If we get enough players we can decide how to implement, maybe a clan or two? I will have to figure out a way to verify where you are, should not be too hard. maybe https://www.iplocation.net/ and phone numbers or maybe send me a text pic of your CMD window. Till then RSVP and we will see if this list grows.
