And you're exited about it. I'm having a hard time figuring out your logic, because it all seems upside-down, backwards and inside-out from my perspective.

It's like you're actually enthusiastic about the update. You know what the missions mean? - No free Daily Bonuses!

Hmmm... Starting to get your point. And not getting why devs can't be asked to transfer these kind of styles into Unity. If it's possible to transfer files from Flash to Blender, then it's definitely possible to transfer files from Flash to Unity.

*sarcasm* Hmmm, yeah, definitely hard. Would I rather want something that is virtual and not much useful...? Or something that is actually physical and much more useful? I definitely can't decide. The unknown value of a gold box is complete and utter bull. Not because you won't know the amount it gives you until you get one (IF you get one), but it also can give a value LESS than a common one. You might argue "Well, they doubled the amount of gold boxes, so that is ok to be like that". To that I reply, Yes AND No. Yes, because that would mean that the twice as higher chance could mean that letting the gold boxes have a chance to getting less crystals than normally. However, the minimum sum, which is 100 does not make it legit. If the minimum sum was to be legit with 100 crystals as minimum, the gold boxes would need to fall x10 more often not x2 and it would only be legit to have x2 if the minimal sum was 500. You also might argue "Well, the chance that you'll get less than 1000 crystals from the gold box is 900/4900 while the chance that you'll get more than 1000 crystals from the gold box is 4000/4900". Who is to say that the devs won't manipulate the code to make it that you get less than 1000 crystals more often than the amount more than 1000? Just like they didn't tell us about the fund being cut in half after Economic's change, they might as well do something like that with this gold box. It's really not to entertain you, but to make you buy more crystals, that's all it ever has been about since Rebalance. Saying that a lottery of a gold box which has a chance of giving you less crystals overall is just fine, is just as stupid as saying that a lottery machine having a chance to give you less money overall is just fine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fisXRmdTR54

Soo... you people say this is ugly and don't say exactly what makes it ugly. Yeah, best reasoning ever, give me more of that.

I'll tell you what's "unfair"; the fact that this game is based on monopoly. You have games which you can buy and then can edit the content of the game the way you like it yourself for yourself and if the authors of the game provide permission, you can also share your edits with other people (generally speaking; mods). You also have some games which often are small and simplistic, which the authors let people get access to and play for free. Then there's the games made by big corporations which you play for free... but if you understand them for what they are, you will see that they are in fact not free at all! Games which you play for free for a while, but then see a requirement to pay in order to gain more from the game. Such games make you waste money over and over again. Until you on your own have payed for the game more than the game is worth. Look inside tanki and you'll see it. I myself have wasted more money on tanki than on any other game combined. Does that seem fair to you? In short, the monopoly in which the game is built in creates all the issues you see before you today: * Buyers who purchase supplies to (as I call them) pirate certain battles * The right for the developers to change the game the way which would only benefit them more to which people continuously payed for * Balance issues * People needing to pay for getting more options And the list goes on. What you see as "unfair" has one cause and ONLY one cause; the monopoly of which the game consists of. Remove the monopoly, make it a game of "free for all" or for the sake of developers "pay and play for free" and that will resolve almost all, if not all the things which you see as "unfair".

What is the point of discussing this, may I ask? Pointless discussions lead to nothing. Ever thought about WHY the tanki changed? before the game was fine, with small updates to fix some bugs and make the gameplay smoother and fairer. Ever since rebalance, things haven't been the same at all. looking back to economics change, I see it only as an EXCUSE made by the developers to reduce the fund. They said that the economics change would increase the funds for those lower in the score chart, while in fact it reduced the fund in general, giving less fund for those lower AND higher in the chart. The first people to complain or to see any significance, or anyone who noticed this was BANNED! Devs didn't increase the fund back up to 80% because they thought that it was unfair, oh no; they did this so that YOU would stop complaining! And now they've even made a RULE to prevent you from complaining about the fund in future. Mass control leads to little liberty. To summarize, the game went from fairly free game to a fascist monitoring and dictating game. Believe me (no, don't believe me, THINK for yourselves), if we all were to stop playing the game completely, right now, the devs would start to give us all kinds of goods for free just so we would continue playing; which is EXACTLY what they did when they gave out double funds twice a week or so! So how about instead of discussing "Past and Future TankiOnline" we were to discuss "Why did tanki go from what it was and what it is now". Because honestly, in terms of gameplay, there was no need for rebalances and all that kind of stuff. Think, people! Dig deep ;) while you still can...

What happened to the clan "We Are Anonymous"?
r_Zesx0 replied to r_Zesx0 in What happened to the clan "We Are Anonymous"? Archive
I've had my eye on this clan long ago. I never understood what it was all about, but now that I've found out what the actual Anonymous hacktivists were all about, I started to become curious about the clan. Before it was a clan which was most of the time, if not always at the beginning of the clan page (back when there was only one clan page), and I think it was even "attached" (not too sure about this). When I last saw the clan page, I saw it get locked. I never found out why, because back then I didn't much care. But now when I am curious, I cannot find the clan even through search! Where has it gone? Has it been removed for reasons public shouldn't know about, like the thread I made about why the TO's logo is pentagon shaped? Does anyone else here know anything more about this clan than I do? I'd be glad for any further information. Attention staff members: if for whatever reason you decide to remove this thread from forum existence as if it was never posted, know that I have the information of this topic saved on my computer. If this thread is to be permanently removed, I will repost this thread, no matter how many times it takes me. -
Balance reasons...? Excuse your logic, but without someone needing to twist their mind to get the right balance between ranks is much harder than it would be for every weapon to not have any upgrades. Also, I've said this before and I'll say it once more, because it seems like people just can't use enough logic in their brain to get this: I like the idea of the game; the idea of the weapons, the design and the mechanics of each of them. That is the ONLY reason why I don't leave this game. Though when I think about it, may be I'll just make my own Tank game running on LAN based on Tanki Online. Then again, not sure about how much the copyright stuff will stuff you with bull... What? NO! I'd be glad to buy something new. Every freakin time, going into the game just to get a little amount of crystals to get a micro-upgrade for the weapon I'm already using: it's just bunch o' bull. How about being able to buy new weapons and hulls at higher ranks instead of upgrading something just because rank reasons? And besides, there is upgrading limit anyway, so in the far end it's just pointless bull.

Ever thought about... what is the reason for upgrades?
r_Zesx0 replied to r_Zesx0 in Ever thought about... what is the reason for upgrades? Archive
I always thought that we need upgrades, but not until recently I thought about WHY we need any in the game. Because logically, if you started with balanced stuff and you'll end with balanced stuff, the upgrades have no need to exist. I know it's fun and gives some reason for the ranks to have any effect, however this also means that if you're an old player and have a high ranks while your friends are about the middle rank, you could not play with them and making new accounts just to play with them is in large a time waster (not talking just about the time it takes to create a new account). If the weapons and hulls had no upgrades, would be effective as at its best from the start and cost fair amount of crystals to purchase, then people wouldn't worry about upgrading what they currently have so that people at their rank in future wouldn't be more powerful than them, but rather would focus on buying different variaty of hulls and weapons. Yes, you would only have one combo at the beginning, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be allowed to choose which combo you would want to play for the time being. And while you might argue that people might later dislike that combo, in contrast people would need to read the descriptions of the weapons much more instead of choosing something on random that looks better. And besides, if we play with some combo for a long time and get bored, that is the same case with combos. This is because you will probably have one combo well upgraded if the upgrades are a thing and a lot of other stuff like M0, which would be almost useless in combat the higher rank you are. So, I don't see ANY reason for upgrades to be there, other than making people buy more crystals. If everything is balanced without any kinds of upgrades, none is superior (except for supplies and paints) and even if someone has different amount of stuff, they would still have the same strength, power, speed etc between weapons and hulls. And when you say "Well, what if a person wants to test something in the game to see if their chosen weapon or hull is suitable for them to use?" to that I answer: More complex demo/demos. The one we have right now is just pathetic because the strength of the bot opponents compared to your tank is as if they have M0 stuff and are versing you with M5 stuff. If the demo was a bit more complex, with enemies being about the same strength as you, you having the choice to choose weapon/hull of your choice after/before every fight and every time you get killed, then people would learn more about the game just through the demo and would know more of what combo they think could be suitable to them at the beginning and what stuff they should collect crystals for next. Not to mention if you could change between protection paints. And no, this kind of demo wouldn't turn into the game itself because it would still be of the kind of pathway that it had before, so you would start the demo and could just run through it over and over again. If you then feel like the game isn't suitable for you, you wouldn't even then register. That would not also mean that upgrades are a completely useless and dumb idea, but also that the game isn't suited for someone who just thinks they can always win. Agree? Disagree? Share your thoughts. -
For those disliking my post in previous topic: I just smacked a custard pie in your face XD How, you ask? Well I WAS RIGHT! The amount of people playing the game every day has decreased for REAL! Just yesterday the maximum people playing every day possible to fit in the graph was 150 000, and now I look it's 120 000 max XD Just wait and they'll eventually just remove the banner of the amount of people playing completely! (I do not have any images showing that it was 150 000, 100 000 and 50 000 showing on the graph, but trust me, it was. Now I'm laughing so hard because they shrunk the graph due to bad results XD). Also, this is in Off-topic section, so locking it has no point. I created this topic in order to tell people of the difference that had just happened. Just wait, people. They'll shorten the graph more and more as more people are leaving the game, until the graph will just be removed completely due to bad reputation XD

I remember that on the chart of the amount of players online shown was about 2 or 3 years ago (I think it was 2 or 3 years ago) was between 200k - 250k max online every day. Now the chart doesn't even have a 200k in the charts and maximum is 150k. Few weeks ago, or probably in the last two months, the charts were nearly reaching 150k from what I can remember, which was max on the chart, btw, but now I look at the charts and every day the amount decreases in thousands of the amount of players online. Before this was the amount of players in game and now it's just the ones online. Who knows how many players are actually playing; 80k? 70k? I'm not gonna get into as to why this is happening... or rather why it could be happening, but just to let you know that the amount is rapidly decreasing. Soon enough probably the 100k will be the maximum on the chart, just wait ;)

It's not just that it's a Naruto reference, oh it's better. Two of my friends make this weird/stupid way of saying "hello", where they do a 360 spin, do that peace sign near their eye, bump their fists and say "Sakura". Yes, my friends are quite weird, but don't judge. It's hilarious when they do that and finding out that there is a paint called Sakura in TO just reminds me of that.

Pfft hahahahahah, a paint called Sakura XD Some of my mates will laugh as much as I do XD

Want tanki to change? Well... I might have thought of something brilliant that might blow your mind...
r_Zesx0 replied to r_Zesx0 in Want tanki to change? Well... I might have thought of something brilliant that might blow your mind... Archive
So... It's a game, right, so resisting has no point. In a system that the game and the country the company is located in (I'm pretty sure it's Russia, but some say it's located in America) is capitalist. Take that in mind. While I hate both communism and capitalism, the fact that the game is run under a capitalist country gives us the advantage of the fact that it is not run by the government. Now, for those who are thinking "What the heck is this guy talking about", let me keep it simple: We, one of us, or some generous millionaire could BUY the company. Owning the Alternativa Platform company means that the business man can fire/hire whoever he or she wants to. This means that the person who brought the company could also be the main developer. And if that person knows the game well, is generous and probably has been one of us before, he could change the system based on the ways he sees better for us and most importantly: based on our feedback. While the Alternativa Platform still needs our money for purchasing crystals to run the servers, pay the money for the rest of the developers, but keep that money in your pocket. I'll admit, if I were rich, I would use my money for something completely different (don't even ask what it is), unless I could do that and buy this company as well. Now, don't get me wrong, I am a smart guy, I wouldn't give anyone free crystals with a 1 and a hundred zeros following it. I've actually done mathematics before and I am still doing it, even at home and I specifically think about how the system could be better and more appealing for the gamers in every way (mechanics, physics, graphics etc. You should see the tons of piles of stuff I've written about tanki on papers!). And to this I would look a lot at players' feedback and suggestions and I mean a LOT. If anyone has watched videos of a youtuber called Markiplier, then that is about as much as I would be like towards the TO community. But then again, it's just something I thought of. And while this might as well never happen, it could be possible! And I am not saying that I should be in charge of Tanki, but that having someone generous, someone who actually cares a lot about the game and what people think about it and genuinely generous in charge of AP would be the only legal way of getting the game better, because none of us want some money grabber(s) who only care about the success of the busyness and making of bad updates to give workers something to do and for finding better ways of cashing in money. Tell me what you think of this guys! It might never happen, but you never know. Would you want someone who knows the game in depth to be in charge of Alternativa Platform and instead of mainly taking in count the busyness part, would instead make the game more of what we would like?
