Discount on Turrets, MUs and Speed Ups + Unlimited Supplies
Invincitron replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
Unlimited supplies. But what would be the point with everyone using them? Everyone will be at equal playing field. Arguably, you could say that it depends who is smarter with them - sure. But in an all out supply war, no one wins. Pretty good though. I'm sure a few people will troll in parkour matches laying mines though :P. -
I have the same problem.

category Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!
Invincitron replied to Ilia.ArchangeI in Ideas and Suggestions
The developers actually mentioned some ideas about two hulls: The concept of the first hull would make it a hovercraft. It hovers, above the ground. It can be easily pushed around by hulls (so its not flying) and the knock-back force from projectiles (which, obviously, come out from turrets). Mines should still be able to hit this hull. Now, the good thing about this hull is that its extremely hard to flip and it can "fall off cliffs" without any risk of landing upside down. It should be considered a medium hull and should have the health and speed of something around Viking and Dictator's health and speed. The concept of the second hull would be a hull that could only fire when its not moving (this does not include movement of the turret). This hull, as it compromises its opportunities to fire, should have good health, moderate speed, and everything else you would likely find in a heavy hull. -
http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=224744 Read @trombone_ftw's thread. I really like the concept of his game mode.

Having weapons that act as a mortar would ruin the game. Anyways, a developer actually posted this idea: A rocket launcher that, when you fire it, you could control the missile. The missile should move at about 1.5x the speed of a ricochet bullet. While in the air, you can control and guide the missile to its destination (the missile should have a lifetime of about four seconds, and then it just explodes dealing area damage around it). While you are guiding the missile to its destination, you would have no control of the tank. When the missile hits its target, the target should take the amount of damage a Railgun and/or Shaft (at full power) would normally do. Its area of effect damage should not be that significant. The missile, on impact, should have a high impact force. Long reload time.

category Ideas for Supplies and Drones!
Invincitron replied to Ilia.ArchangeI in Ideas and Suggestions
Yeah man let's go! --- There shouldn't be anymore supplies but perhaps a supply that only comes in the form of a drop box. A random box. It could give you either a health kit, double armor, double power, or speed boost (like a normal supply, this random box should not add the actual supply into your garage). Speaking about drop boxes... let's bring back crystal boxes!- 2,749 replies

Last year the May Day sales were only 25% off, perhaps this year it will be different. The next big 50% sale after New Years (at least last year, I believe) was on Tanki Online's birthday (06.04.09). Of course though, there may those random mini sales (such as the ones where we vote, the ones that only last for an hour, et cetera).

Do You Feel Discriminated Against Because You Are "A Buyer?"
Invincitron replied to felony_1 in Archive
As the title suggests, buyers should not feel discriminated. Nice work @felony_1 for making them truly feel as part of everyone else. -
Sale surprise ruined. Oh well, people will be prepared now.
-
I would think this is because the actually equipment is more popular so by cutting down the prices on the less popular stuff, they can perhaps influence players to buy the less popular stuff.
-
Ah, it's not a 50% sale. Now it's time to sit back and watch the people who get mad even if Tanki Online gave us a 25% sale...

Not really actually. The camera turns where the mouse goes, not the turret. Therefore you could turn way too fast and the camera actually goes where the turret if eventually going to face.
-
I dislike the mouse controls the way they are now because they do not follow the same concept as the keyboard controls do. When you use oyur mouse to aim, the camera should follow the turret and your screen should be divided into thirds. When you put your mouse onto the left third, the gun (with the screen/camera) turns left. When you put your most onto the middle third, the gun (with the screen/camera) stays where it is. When you put your mouse onto the right third, the gun (with the screen/camera) turns right. A simple concept. The reason why people do not understand nor like the new mouse controls is because the camera should act as the camera in the normal Tanki Online does now- it follows the turret as it turns. Sure, I guess you could arguably say this can be done with the fullscreen mode of the mouse controls but the camera can turn faster than the turret at times causing even more confusion! The camera should just look at whatever the "turret is looking at" just like the keyboard controls do.

If it really was a joke, that is good as that would completely ruin the game.

Let’s discuss updated rank limits for higher ranks
Invincitron replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
At least give us back the normal way (or unlimited ranks) for PRObattles...
