Hi come back to the game after 6 month lay off Both yesterday and today I have been dumped from a match (both times Rugby) for inactivity, both times I was actively sniping and killing but well camped (not moving the hull). Has something changed to stop 'camping' or is this a bug? Regards

Of course there is a massive assumption by Tanki that everyone has a smartphone and can read QR codes. No smartphone = can't participate = unfair

Re Daily mission chains: There should be an option for taking a 'holiday' from building your chain by which I mean pausing it. If you take a holiday, a break from routine, there is a good chance that through travel or being in a different location playing tanki is not possible. Mission chains take effort to keep going and through no fault of your own they have to be stopped and so, broken. We all know when our holidays are in advance so I'm not talking you fouled up one day and want an excuse to pause your chain, I'm talking a mechanism for requesting a pause in the chain ahead of the time. Also we only get so many days holiday a year, typically 4 weeks a year if you're working in Europe so there could be a cap on the number of, lets call them Tanki Holidays, a year. So let's say that now you know that you are going to be away for Easter. So at least 7 or 15 days before, you book four days break from daily mission chains from 25th to 29th March. Then after the booked time you continue as before. What do you think??

Good idea, questionable implementation. I think as most people generally filled up servers in order of availability so as to get best choice of battles it's the physical look, the psychology, if you like, of logging in. If the Russians got the first column of servers, the EN the 2nd column and the DE the third - even if it's only the top 3 servers of the 3rd column, then the rest of the 3rd column could be RU/EN allocated or free of allocation. People would then log in more happily, filling their allocated servers in order. All regardless of server numbers. What d'you think @SemyonKirov?

More on server 29: The fullest EN server - 1700+ players and I only get 20 on-going battles for my rank to choose from. The old system worked better - filling up the servers more or less in order and so getting more choice of battles. Players also generally stuck to regular servers and so met regular opponents. I for one generally logged on to server 3 - 1 and 2 being a bit to 'pro' for my abilities and I was happy. If it was a busy period and 3 was full I always went for 12. It worked for me.

So I've gone to server 29 which seems to be the fullest EN server and it's full of Germans - as if it was previously where they hung out. Great guys, new friends made :-) But haven't they been marginalised somewhat if they go to the new DE servers.

TOP posts above: Miniclip is the way in - but of course hardly anyone is on line + switch servers through your friends lists. IT'S WORKING Of course the big question is if we can get in through Miniclip.... Why not normally, this shows the servers are actually UP!

I'm getting HTTP 500 Internal Server Error on IE11 Are the new servers down?

'The Game' prizes - Where're my mines?
ImARanker replied to ImARanker in 'The Game' prizes - Where're my mines? Archive
I participated in the recent competition, got my 100 supplies on the 9th as promised but didn't get 100 mines. Anyone think of why? Was this a general thing or should 'the organisation' be fixing this and if so how to go about getting the fix? -
Re: The Answers - Day 7 Throughout the competition there were some very clever riddles set up, with a lot of effort, by the developer team but with the distraction on the forum of the shambolic ending can someone explain to me how we ended up with WASP from the given clues? (Trolling answers from other parts of the forum aside) The trail ended for me at an unopenable zip file (and that an interesting idea coming from the team when throughout game chat they warn, through auto messages, about downloading dodgy 'cheat' files that would corrupt your computer, yet here they appear to be carrying out the very same concept ie encouraging users to download and open a contents unkown zip onto your computer in the name of receiving a reward). Day 5 The 'word' IDDQD had nothing whatsoever to do with Tanki. I can understand the developers homage to an early classic groundbreaking game concept like Doom but surely the final answer here should have been something from Tanki vocabulary, 'Goldbox' for example. Day 6 I know Semyon has already said in this thread that it wasn't his idea for his name to be the answer but wouldn't this answer have been better as 'Holiday' the paint shown in the jpg and what the celebration that the competition was part of. Anyway DAy 5 and 6 are just comments/my view really... Day 7 is what I'd really like to know about!

To Semyon and the other developers It's all too easy to be critical and so few people praise so... Thank you all very much for this festive season and great genourosity. Clearly there are a number of disgruntled 'The Game' players out there but overall, the ideas, the sentiment behind it all and the planning etc has been top and your effort (and my 100 supplies, and all the crystals I've been collecting/spending over this period) are greatly appreciated. Obviously from the comments you can see where to make improvements so it doesn't need going over again. So once again THANK YOU ALL and wish you a happy new year.
