Is freeze m1 a good fit with the viking m1?

I was in a game and doing pretty good,then i went up to a guy and fired at him.But nothing happened,I also saw that there was no burn affect,because the guy wasn't dark red.I did a full blast of fire from my M1 firebird into a hornet M0 and nothing happened.Please tell me if this is a bug or theres something wrong with my computer.It doesn't happen every time I play, but it happens sometimes to me.It would be nice if you guys could fix this.

Should i get the jaguar paint or the swash paint?Jaguar looks nicer(in my opinion)but swash looks like it has better protection.So should i save up for swash or,get jaguar right away?

Ok,so I have a wasp m1 and firebird m1.Im saving up for m1 hornet and m1 rail...but i also wanna get a viking m1 and freeze m1.But i know i cant get all of them.So should I get m1 hornet and rail or m1 viking and feeze?My gamestyle is attacker.
