Hello fellow tanki players/moderators/tanki devs, Firstly, I would like to say that I was very fortunate to be invited to the closed beta and I would not be writing this post in the forum if I have found a "feedback/bug report" page to submit a message to the devs. Please enlighten me if you do know such a site. I also haven't found a TankiX specific portion of the forum dedicated to TankiX other than (http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=291161). I don't find this topic very fit in that thread. Secondly, everything I say here is STRICTLY MY OWN EXPERIENCE and MY OPINION, YOU CAN AND MAY DISAGREE. SO DON'T ATTACK ME WHEN YOU DISAGREE WITH MY ARGUMENTS (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem). I will try to be as objective as possible. Now that those two disclaimers are out of the way, here is my experience on the current state of TankiX as of June 18th, 2016. I will be tackling the topic from three different angles: General "User-Friendliness", Graphics/Performance, and Game Experience. Well Ill tell you right now that TankiX is only worth 5/10 stars IN ITS CURRENT STATE, if Tanki Online is worth 10/10 points. Firstly, the game is not very user-friendly. When you go in, you will see the following dialog box where you can only select a few resolutions, a few input options (in the input tab) and your graphics quality. This box pops up every time you launch the game, but I don't mind it as it remembers your last settings. I personally don't mind the resolution, However, anything under 1280x720 is totally unusable, as all the UI elements clash with each other for space on the screen. (The following image is taken at 800x600) Another Issue I have with the UI is the fact that you need to scroll around without a scroll bar!!! You can only press those buttons to move left or right. If you have 20 games and you need to select one, it is a BIG PAIN. The same issue goes with with selecting a hull/turret/paint. Its PAINFUL. JUST make a scrollbar!!! What I do like about the UI is the fact that the animation transition between menus are pretty neat. Keep that feature up. Unfortunately due to the uneasy scrolling, and the oversized UI, I can only give the General "User-Friendliness" a 3/10. As I move on to Graphics/Performance, I would like to say that I am running off of a GTX 560 which bottlenecks my CPU, as the computer is 5 years old. I cannot run this game on HIGH graphics without overheading (over 100°C) my GPU, so I will cut some slack in the grading of the graphics of TankiX. On low and very low graphics quality, the game runs pretty smoothly at around 30fps (because I can feel the lag, even though I can't find an actual FPS display in this game !!! They need to actually display that information like how they do it in Tanki Online). The only issue im running into right now is the fact that the game still overheats my GPU at round the 20-30 minute mark. I can only play for so long before I have to quit and let the computer chill off. On the other hand, I can play tanki for hours after hours without ever having to quit due to hardware issues. I don't know what would happen if someone decides to play tankiX with intel HD graphics. It would probably be a nightmare. Tanki Online, by contrast, is very optimized as I was able to play it on a dual core processor wtih 4GB of RAM. If tanki wants to keep some of their low spec players, then they should either optimize unity version, make their own optimized game engine, or allow turning off more functions and shaders. TBH, it doesn't take that long to make a game engine from scratch (i ment from OPENGL), it only took me about 2 years to make one ... XD, you can probably make one in less than a few months. Due to my hardware limitations, I will rate the graphics/performance of tankiX at 7/10. To be honest I really like the way they animate the tank in order to show whether or not they are on powerups. it really makes druggers hard to spot unless you are up close. Finally the overall Game Experience is pretty good, if I overlook all the performance and matchpicking issues. In this game, I didn't find anything related to M1, M2s and M3s. Everything seems to work with Mastery and similar Micro-upgrads. I do have to say that it is hard to determine whether or not you can approach a target with confidence that you can defeat them. I can't tell the difference between an upgraded and a non upgraded tank. So I often just get myself killed just because I didn't upgrade my tank enough. Even if I sneaked up onto someone, there is a good chance that they will be able to kill me, because of the lack of information on their stats. Furthemore, the Rank badge is very very hard to see. I can't make out the difference between the ranks of the players, because they simply look too similar when shrinked down to several pixels. I would prefer if tankiX just sicked with the same logos as the tanki online ranks. That aside, I feel as if the lighter tanks in tankiX is unbalanced due to their sudden drop in acceleration and handling medium and heavy tanks are much much more overpowered, balancing is needed!!! Thus, I can only give TankiX a 5/10 in this Game Experience. If we average my scores that I have given for the previous sections, then we will get a 5/10 score. I hope this justifies my belief that tankiX is only half as good as tanki online right now. Thank you for reading thus far, and I hope that the tanki dev team can get someone really good at making unity games to help them out. Please point out anything that I may have mistaken. I am not trying to be sarcastic in this post, so please don't take anything that seems sarcastic to heart. In the mean time, ill be waiting for a better release of tanki X. EDIT: when i say tanki dev team, I really mean the Tanki Development Team. Dev just means Developers... XD

Server "Temporarily Unavailable" ... lasted at least 3 hours by now

It was a gloomy day (at least, at where I lived). After working hard for 2 weeks without a "TANKI" break, I finally settled down to have a bit of entertainment... I quickly clicked on the "Tanki Online" bookmark on my favorite browser (firefox), and pressed enter. I eagerly waited for the page to load (which took about 1s) and discovered that the "Servers are temporarily unavailable". At first, I believed another exciting update was being carried out. As I scrolled down the page, I read "Technical Malfunctions". My heart sank. As the link loaded, I hoped that this problem was only temporary. I was delighted when I discovered that the problem will be fixed by 2:00 UTC. So I decided to entertain myself for a few hours before I return. When I returned (right now), I was disappointed about the fact that the issues will be fixed by 4:00. With a disappointed thought, I shall return tomorrow? Just out of curiousity, what is going on? -

ShackWave Flash Busy ... And then Tanki Crashes :(
RocketFish replied to RocketFish in ShackWave Flash Busy ... And then Tanki Crashes :( Archive
Hello! I am experiencing 2 problems: 1)keystroke lag and 2) busy shockwave flash. Some basic system Information: OS: windows 7 shockwave flash: 17.0.0.169 browser: firefox 38.5 used this browser for at lest 1/2 a year without problems. 1) Keystroke lag is lag when I switch between keys. For example: when I switch from pressing button "<" to button ">", my turret still goes left while its supposed to go right. This goes on for about 1/2 - 3 sec and then goes back to normal. My ping was around 60 when this occurred and all other players still acted around normally. No sign of other players jumping around due to my lag. I have only had this problem for the last month. Is this a problem with an update? 2) busy shockwave flash occurred randomly. It jumps out randomly, but not quite often. The game would freeze for about 1/2 - 2 seconds and sometimes the game resumes. Sometimes, a dialog box pops up asking whether to terminate shockwave flash script due to busy script that might slow down my browser. Whatever I do after that dialog box pops up, i loose the tanki interface. Either the entire game freezes or everything turns grey. Anyone have a clue what is wrong with my computer or tanki. EDIT: I have seen the topic " How to reduce lagsStarted by AMDTU, 19 Mar 2014 15:34" But I still have the problem -
What is this? "Your friend has diabled invites"
RocketFish replied to RocketFish in What is this? "Your friend has diabled invites" Archive
I added a new friend recently, and I wanted to play a game with him/her.... I wanted to invite him/her to a battle via the friends system. But the information dialog on my top right side of the browser said: "Your friend disabled invites" What is this? I have been playing this game for a long long time and I have never seen this. I went in my settings page and didn't find a check that said "Disable Invites". How did he do this? -
