Contest [Issue 27] Continue the Story! [Chapter 2]
I3rilliant replied to Pathfinder in Newspaper Archive
I slumped behind the damaged wall and sunk to the bottom of it in a state of perplexity. There was no quick-fix to this; it demanded a complex scheme. I had to think of a way to enter the oppressive establishment holding my comrade hostage without being seized. “What to do, what to do” I thought to myself, still in a nonplussed state. A lengthy five minutes passed, before I finally formulated an outline of an intricate ploy. “I'll sneak in through the medium of the window,” I then softly spoke out, in an endeavour to rid myself of hesitation, and to reassure myself this was going to end in prosperity. I crept up to the stained window, and did my utmost to open it – unfortunately, to my own adversity, I didn't possess the potency to open it. I felt nothing but contempt in myself knowing that the enemy were triumphant. It got to the extent there was no response when attempting to reach them. Did this mean our own offensive force was completely captured? “I surrender” shouted Boris in a woeful tone. Hearing my companion's cries of capitulation touched my heavily-beating heart. Synchronously, it also filled me with determination. There was a monumental silence which lasted for around 40 seconds – I didn't have a solid impression of what it meant, thus it forever remained in ambiguity. I found an ashen, adamantine rock and threw it directly at the window. It inevitably shattered in an instant. I proceeded through, and quickly hid behind the teal sofa that stood majestically in front of the damaged window. “I hear something,” said a member of the opposition who just quickly entered the room. “Perhaps an intruder?” responded another member of the opposition, of who followed shortly behind. “Take it at your own discernment,” the first member responded vehemently. “But one thing's for certain, the being responsible for this noise needs to be contained,” “You're right,” the second member then acknowledged. I had the company of the very two nitwits that apprehended Boris. I clutched my assault rifle the second their viewpoint wasn't in my direction. They were guarding the entrance unaware of my presence. Utilising the point-blank opportunity, I pulled the trigger and returned to my initial position – blood was gushing everywhere, as the goon dropped to the ground. I only had enough time to take down one of them – and with my confidence at a high stature, I suspected the other would be taken down imminently. “SHOW YOURSELVES!” the remaining member shouted. “I've got this,” responded a voice I've heard before that just emerged. “I'll leave you to it,” the goon said before leaving. Upon his departure, I stood up with my hands held up, for I knew that the known voice was none other than Boris. His gun was pointing in my direction. “Join me,” Boris then said. “This isn't you, Boris,” I said ardently. “I understand that at the time, hope was lost, but I'm here now – let's go” “I can't abandon my troupe, I'm afraid,” Boris then responded. “It's come to my attention you're the one responsible for the demeanour of my teammate here – I think it's time you now become what you've turned him into,” “Don't do this, Boris; this isn't your troupe,” I then pleaded. “Your troupe is back over there barely surviving an ambush – we need you; come back to where you belong” “You're right,” Boris then replied before putting his gun down. “I'm so sorry - let's get out of here,” Just before making a run for it via the window, a bunch of guards entered the diminutive room and circled us. “FREEZE!” they said in unison. We put our hands in the air... -
This is my garage: Right, this is the result of saving up for a hell of a long time for the Turret Kit, which got me just under half of these. Thanks to the "Spot the Difference" contests! The others were obtained via self-want and sale means. It's good, but I honestly don't know where to go from here. The only other thing I'd want is Freeze. But bearing in mind I have it M3 on @Remaine, do I skip it and go to M2 Isida or even a kit? Or do I have enough time to go back for Freeze and still get Isida when the time comes?

No, it's not, for like the third time. Tankman's Day is on the second Sunday of September each year. The 8th is a MONDAY. You would've been significantly closer if you said the 7th, since it's actually a SUNDAY but that's wrong too. This year, Tankman's Day is on the 14th. The only reason why it was so early last year is because the first Sunday last year was the first day of the month.

What are you getting on Tankman's Day, if anything?

I hear a lot of talk about it so I thought I might as well make a topic on the subject. -
My best combo - where do I go from here?
-
This completely makes what would be a respectable post meaningless - it dictates the true reason you spoke out in the first place. And that isn't to pay respects...
-
^ How old are you?
-
Good luck. I will do the same if it happens to Shaft.
-
Fortunately, at my rank, little-to-no people have it (there is the possibility due to the Heavy Kit)
-
Didn't say you were
-
I would prefer if it were taller - but then again, its lack of height can sometimes make Railgun shots miss.
-
Is that the Turret Kit?
-
Flipped whilst on drugs is one of the worst things that can happen...
-
To some extent...
-
I see - do you feel you're behind on M3 equipment?
-
Grats in advance.
-
Ah, I forgot about Railgun M1 - I'll be able to one-shot pretty much everyone.
