Whats the point of it? Nothing. I don't know, you want to chat in in-game battles with all those wacky emoji's or concentrate in winning. Well, It's called DeathMatch for a reason, tho. There are TDM's for alliances. IMO, it should stay as it is as DeathMatch is a DeathMatch, it should not have a team at least from the game side, if you wish to make a team in a DM battle unofficially, you can, but the game should not change the definition of DeathMatch by adding team up features.

We do need a feature which searches for nicknames alphabetically, like for example if the name of the tanker is "mag_legacy", I need to search for "mag" in order to find his nickname, but there can be instances where I remember the second half of the nickname i.e "legacy", then there will be a problem, I don't think its that hard to implement, it was suggested before, which got no reply whether it is under review, or declined, or whatever was decided. I believe this is more required, it will solve almost every problem.

I am neutral about this, if implemented fine. If it doesn't, nevermind. lol

You would be able to disable/enable voice chat anytime, so you won't be able to hear anyways. + I also personally think it shouldn't be for normal battles as many people from many different countries joins and we won't understand each other anyways. Also, as again suggested above, it should be on clan matches. Does adding in-game feature needs to buy servers? We are not talking about TeamSpeak/Discord servers here, tho. I din't know, making an in-game feature will need you to buy servers. :unsure:
