    I'll try to master the New Dead Shaft over a Hunter (or Viking, I'm not sure what I have) I like to have some mobility, more now that I need to hide for 8 seconds before shooting again. Some mobility allows me to change strategies base on the dynamic of the game. The problem with you hull is can be pushed very easy.

    That Path Projection is Tank 101. But it has became a very hard to do in a super fast environment, more if you guns turns too slow when loaded. Tanki Team use the " buy another m1" to make this changes. Tried other guns, not happy. I'm a Lon Range, more sneaky player. But it's a fact The Shaft strategy has been altered in massive ways, this shot and hide is more like Railgun strategy. Nonesense. ​You are asking Panther to act as a T1 or a Sherman. It won't happen. Evolution is Adaptation, granted, but the Update was way unnecessary. I won't invest more money on the game, it has no projection.

    I play mainly Future, Silence and Sephurov, which I found to be the best for long range strategy. The problem I found with the Shaft turret with the new settings is that the Fast movement of the new hulls do not match the speed of your gun at sniper mode, making accuracy at shooting much harder now. As a long range weapon, you main plan should be cleaning the area for fast moving tanks on your team, as well as offer protection when they confront the enemy. In small maps it's harder because the capacity The Shaft had to shot normal rounds without using the telescopic mode is in existence once you shot once, the waiting time for loading only allows you to run. Even if you are a snipe, you should be able to reload half the times faster, any sniper in real life has the capacity to shot more than one hit in time , if you have to move your post to protect your self, then the Sniper effect is lost. You are being sing, and you are being aimed, without a chance to shot back. I agree with you with the fact that Shaft are not Campers, they used to be a strategic weapon in more elaborated strategies. Before the update, Shaft had its own weaken points, that opponents had to discover, but now those weaken points have been exarcebated, mainly with the waiting time for reload. I think the experience could change if your always play team games with the same people, they know you and they can cover. In my case, I used to pick weak teams to boost their possibilities, overturning many games in our favor. But under the new update, it's impossible. I'll give it one more change. I will change my hull to a more solid one, but I doubt it will make the whole experience enjoyable.

    Which Maps have you played on? How was your defense against Short Range Tanks? How can you handle slow tourret movement when loaded and need to change targets? What about missing fire?

    Is not just about the money. We had a great game. A game in which you could look forward to keep growing, to get better, to be respected and feared. You could build up you dream tank, grown with it and know that everything you were doing in the past 4-6 months will take you somewhere. But then, by monetary issues, you are pushed to start all over, because everything you were able to master and to build, was bulldozed. I was a Shaft Player, a good one. I was growing and getting better, learning how to defend my self from fast, close combat units. I Upgraded my torret, I was respected. Now, all that is history. Tanki decided to kill Shaft in the most stupid way, the reloading time. I can handle the ultra slow motion of the gun (when loaded) in a Hyper Fast New Game, but the Reloading time is ridicusly slow (at lease as 15 to 25 seconds of waiting to be able to shoot again) for me to be able to enjoy the game more than 2-3 min wihtou being kill, and not because your enemy outmaneuvered you, but because the New Upgrade has removed all change for you to defend yourself. Tanki killed the Shaft. I tray all other torrets, I can't catch up. So why should I keep investing more and more time in a game that in no time will change the rules of everything again, and will trash every I build? IT feels like dating a very insecure and unstable girlfriend, you don't know what to expect any more. And honestly, I don't have time for that crap.

    But recognized you have killed The Shaft. It's ridicules to play. Please Check the Statistics of this week after the change. The Waiting time for loading is Killing the best gun in the game.

    Please, try to use The Shaft Gun with a fast hull. I Used Whasp, lot the speed. But if the waiting process to be able to load is 10x slower than the Entire Game, Is Useless. Looks like the Desinger though like you, the Shaft was too strong, let's killed it.

    I use a Wasp. As zoo you shot in a Shaft and Run, you still not able to load, there is no time to have a decent respond to any counter-offensive to you. The Speed of the New Game has make The Shaft Obsolete.

    As a last note to the Tanki Team. If people is taking its time to post here and be part of this Forum is because they really care for this amazing Game-Site you guys have been created. Many as me, believe this game concept is unique, well though and fun to play and to be part of it. The big majority have spend hours working in their tanks, their strategies, their alliance. Many have also spend a decent amount of money to fully use all the option you have implemented in the Game, to make Tanki a great Game platform for people around the world. from Russia to the United States and everybody in between. The big majority of Players that have post in this forum have the same complains, the same issues and the same will to keep playing your game, because, lets be honest, Tanki rocket. So please listen us, pay attention to what the big majority is saying. Some changes were need it, for sure, twice some Hulls, improve some torrets, reinforcing the CODE against Hackers, improve Servers capabilities etc, but this changes should have not change all the dynamics of the game and give favor to small group of players used to a more High Speed Adrenaline. We love this Game, we want to continue playing it, paying for upgrades and goodies, and have fun as we have been having till Upgrade 205. Don't disappoint us. People will walk away and we want this game to exist for longer, but in a smart and responsible way. Thank you guys for all your work and efforts, I hope you guys are listening. Lets fix this mess.     51 pages explaining all the major issue people were having with their specific Tanks, Hulls and Guns. Issues in Navigation, In Shooting, loading. Upgrades trashed and the whole experiences of the game destroyed.......and you still asking why are we mad? Get a grip.

    "Shaft before was bad, you were sitting there aiming to get the full damage and the enemy could just circle you. Now you can get to the max-damage of the Shaft much more quicker, by making the Shaft more of a back-line-gun." REALLY!!!!!! The speed of the load has increased, something is not that bad, but then the waiting time for a new shot allows everybody to target you without you have any chance of defend yourself. Yes, before others had to get close to you to kill you (THAT WAS THE POINT), but that was the disadvantage of the Shaft, we couldn't play close range because strategically we had a MAJOR disadvantage. So the new upgrade have leave us disable to stand a game for more than a few shots before be kill. The statistics are lauder than any of our complains, our ratio of killings have drop dramatically and our ratio of being killed have grown exponentially. Is no way we could really jump into a game to be killed 80% of the time. The Speed on the hulls, no problem, but from all the changes, Tanki Team has completely disabled the Shaft. It doesn't make sense at all. The Shaft used to be the Panthers of the Game, not the Shermans. Now, is all about Shermans. Stupid move.

    There are no problems with the Hulls in General, speed, ok, whatever, the problem is in the GUNS, The Shaft has become useless, a complete sitting duck.

    I don't see any problem at all with the Engines, Faster, good, no problem. BUT, the main issue in this new update are the GUNS, Tanki Team has literally killed The Shaft. And many of the biggest and better players used The Shaft.

    I think I'm leaving Tanki. Sorry guys, it has been an amazing trip, lots of funs, feinships and rivalries. But looks like I'm obsolete to this Fast Hit and Run new version of Tanki. Teens win once again, an those enjoying the purity of tanks and it;s strategy have no more place here. Many, for not saying the majority of The Shaft Gun players will have very hard times to adopt to the new useless gun, and they won't be able to adapt to another Gun that easy.     Forget about the realism issue, that's my own like. The point is that The Shaft now has lost all its real power. Yes, you could lurk, hide, an shot. But as soon as you shot, they find your place, so you need to shot again as faster as you can, now, to load (not just telescopic) it takes for ever, meaning that as soon as you shot, 3 to 6 shots will fall on your head before your gun is able to load again. That's one issue. The Second issue is when you are in Telescopic mode, normally the gun moves very slow, that's ok. But now is almost titanic to move the gun in telescopic mode, making you unable to change targets fast enough, waisting time and becoming a sitting duck. Looks like the changes on the Shaft were made on propose by developers that play with other guns. If you are good with The Shaft, you are almost invincible. You push Strategy into your enemies game. You need to be creating to bring down a Shaft. I have tried all Guns here, and the Shaft is for the real strategist. You don't been speed when you are a Snipper, you need a good Gun with good reload power. Not the crap they did with it. It would be better if they just delete from the Market. Stupid upgrades.
