I would use it primarily for DMs. I know I should wait for 50% but i don't have that kind of patience. :) Do you have either titan or mammoth m2?

Mammoth or Titan m2 at 25% sale, I have 80k (Germany won!) Turrets: M2 smoky, m2 rail, m2 fire, m2 isida ( I never use it), and m2 rico. Hulls: M2 wasp, M2 Hunter, I want a heavy tank. Thank you!

I thought I did that once, but then realized it was from another smoky who was in the battle. I love smoky with wasp m2.

I just got it m2, it is really fast, but takes a lot of skill to drive. I am working on my skills with it for rail and I flip over too often. :) My favorite hull. i use it with m2 fire and m2 rail

Actually, I prefer shaft in DMs. In CTF, it is hard to keep up in points with the flag cappers. But in DM i can focus on scoring kills. The key is find camp spots, lay mines and steal kills. In battles with an overpopulation of hornets, the job is pretty simple, as everyone is a one shot target. In battles with mammoths and vikings, the job is harder. However, the larger tanks are pretty easy to kill steal. In Polygon DMs, I often have to settle for short term spots. Even with these, I can still crank out a few kills before passing. But when I reach the good spots, I score many kills, Advantages of DMs over team modes: 1. More enemies=more targets 2. It is easier to win by yourself. In CTF, it is difficult to capture. In TDM you often waste an entire charge and only receive 2 pts. 3. No reliance on team. I often get good scores in team modes, only to receive a meager reward. In DM, the supply of crystals is spread evenly. 4. No boring waiting periods. I am a very impatient tanker, so if nothing crosses my scope within 10 seconds I release the charge on a wall. In DM enemies are everywhere, I usually don't have to wait long for a kill. 5. You can team with choice enemies. I try to team with skilled players, players with shaft, and players I can't one shoot. My favorite thing to do is team up with other shafts and create an impenetrable sniper nest. 6. The main drawback of DMs is how easy it is for enemies to flank you. Lay mines or keep your back to the wall to counter this. I really enjoy shaft in DMs. I use it over m2 rico and m2 firebird. However, the best map/mode for shaft is stadium CTF. So many hornets, and the flag carriers are easy to pick off. In this mode I nearly always win the battle.

Yes! i like it. But I'm addicted to speed, so once i get m2 wasp, i'll probably use that more. :) However, you must use hunter's speed correctly to beat the m2/m3 vikings.

Hmm, i'm excited, yet still doubtful. Wouldn't it be hard to aim if an enemy fires at you? Even with hornet-rico, I miss. The strange combos i'm going to try with wasp are wasp-shaft and wasp-rico. I wish wasp was that good when i used it m1. I was always dwarfed by the m1 hornet. But now wasp is just as good, if not better.

I agree, I use hunter m2 with shaft and it has the speed to reach camping grounds and the health to survive hits along the way. I've seen shaft Mammoths, they do okay, but with mammoth's all round slowness you don't get to pick your targets, they pick you instead. At least its easy to aim with the stability of mammoth though. I play DMs with shaft, its my weapon of choice as well.

I have tried to play XP battles recently. They really fun, but every time i have played some thunder or firebird intrudes in the middle of the battle. And people use prodigi. :angry:

I have hornet m2 and its not very good. Vote for wasp.

robbie56, how much armor do you have, with MU's? I have 195, but how high do you recommend to MU? Because you have to use it against m3 vikings...

Is it any good, or just exciting? I'm going to get m2 wasp for my m2 firebird and I was wondering if there was any chance it could go with my m2 rico.

With my Hunter m2 with tundra i can survive 2 m3 rail guns. Hunter and Wasp have always been my favorite hulls, even before they were boosted. Its kinda nice not having the same hulls as everyone else.

Actually shaft can be used in DMs. I use my m2 shaft in polygon and win (sometimes), In fact I prefer DMs because there are more targets. :) In polygon there are many good camping spots and once you reach one you can rack up tons of kills. Desert DM is good if you can team up with the railguns otherwise its hard to camp. However, for me, the prime map for shaft is Stadium CTF. So many hornets and easy to kill people stealing your flag. I can get more points sniping in stadium than my teammates who are capturing. Although they decreased shafts damage, it is way better. The fast turret rotation can out turn hornets and wasps at medium and long distances. And the arcade shots finish all those m2 vikings.

I'm not sure, I only have m2. But m3 would take less time to kill hornets thereby letting you recharge faster. I plan to get m3 shaft someday. Did you see in the recent clan wars one of the particiapants used m3 shaft and dominated, but that was before they changed shaft, I think it is better now.
