Well dear Tanki Online... A few weeks have passed and now I have no doubt about this: you have turned my only turret, the one I spent so much time and money on to bring to M4, into a joke. Even the most basic missions like "Destroy 50 tanks" have become very hard for me to complete. Not to talk about my D/L ratio I was working so hard on, now I get destroyed 4 times for each kill... Right now it would take forever to collect enough crys to get a new M4 turret, and obviously I will not spend any more real money into a turret that could be nerfed too during the next "balance". Given that the only way for me to enjoy this game now would be to start all over again with a different tank, I will rather switch to a different game and start from scrap there... I guess that it's time to say goodbye, all the nice things are destined to end sooner or later, thank you for all these years of fun. Bye, JS

Having an Isida myself, on the close range an Isida pack is (used to be) indeed hard to take down, but as all short range turrets they are utterly useless on the long distance. Imagine 4 Isidas fighting in a pack against 4 Thunders spreading up and skilled enough not to let the Isidas get close, the Thunders can get away without a scratch. For this reason I and my Isida never stood a chance in long range maps such as Stadium, Monte Carlo, Highways, etc. In these maps an Isida was and is just an ideal target and, in the best case, an healer. Having such a big disadvantage on the long range, it seems quite obvious to me that we should have the upper hand in the short range, otherwise Isidas would only be good as a night lamps. On the contrary now I am struggling even on the short range, with twins, hammers and thunders that do not even try to avoid me to take me down. Resuming: inevitably last in big maps, and struggling in the middle rankings in small maps. I have an M4 Isida and an almost M3.5 Viking and I can as good as forget about a first place. Whoever did this "re-balancing" had no idea of what they were doing, it looks like they didn't consider the range factor in their calculation.

By now I am perfectly aware that nobody reads what we write on the forum, but I'll write it down anyway as an anger management therapy... I spend all my crys on Hornet and upgrade it to M4, then with the previous "balance" you make it useless (and with this one complete crap , I'd rather have an M4 wasp now). Now it is abandoned in my garage while I use Viking. I spend all my crys on Isida and upgrade it to M4, and you just decide to take it off of the game (an isida that can barely heal and self-heal sounds more like a taser, notoriously effective against tanks). Last but not least I invest on a protective paint against Firebird, clearly the most OP turret in the game, and what do you do...? You make Firebird even more powerful! Now it t melts my 40 protection against fire like ice, I don't even want to imagine how it would be without it... Whenever you guys take such crazy decisions you should give the people the option to get back the crystals used on their current equipment and buy what you decided that it must be the new standard. I would buy a freaking firebird now and spread panic in the game, but probably in a few months you will make it the weakest turret in the game, so I'll rather save my crystals until then.

Hi there, I have a question concerning Isida, not sure if this is the right place to post it. I would like to know if increasing the Micro-Upgrade "Range" will increase the range of the beam only horizontally or also vertically. In other words: imagining the range of an Isida as a cone, will the cone be just longer or also wider? I am asking this because currently I have troubles healing team-mates who are on a ramp if I'm not standing on their same ramp (very common in Noise, for example). I was wondering if I could improve the situation by fidgeting the "Range". Andrei I solved this problem increasing the "Weight" of my hull. So far I only increased it by 7 (Hornet M2) and that was enough to face M3 twins and ricochet without having my aim knocked off. I still have issues with Hammer, but I'm sure that by increasing the weight even more the whole tank will not spin whenever hit. If what I asked above is confirmed, also the Range might help in having a wider aim-angle.

Hi there, I've another suggestion for what concerns the battle list: Show in the "current battles" the highest rank allowed for each battle. As a "major" I'm comfortable fighting against players who are 2 or 3 ranks higher than me, but above this level I'm usually blown up in one shot of railgun every 5 seconds. For this reason I'm usually looking for battles where the highest rank is not much higher than mine, but currently the only way for doing it is to select each battle and check the battle info, and by the time I do it the battle is full. Thank you and congratulation on the last updates! JS

Just experimented and... not happy. And here is the reason: Not always I can stay until the end of the battle. Sometimes I just have something else to do, some other times (right now) technical problems arise (thank you windows for deciding that it was time for an update!). When this happens at least I get the crystals collected from the boxes, not much but enough to pay the next micro-upgrade. This time instead I've been playing for about an hour and now have the same crystals that I had before. It might be good for players with a lot of free time, but it dissuades short game rounds. Cheers, JS

Hi Valletta, I agree that we could adjust out tactics according to the new changes, but yet it is not so easy: I have Hornet - Isida. Isida, as you know is a short range turret. I can only destroy enemies avoiding their shots and trying to reach them and sucking energy out of them before they destroy me. This was quite difficult at the beginning, but yet with some experience I became a master at that. I often thought that it would have been easier to get a Shaft and a Mammoth and to play sniper, but this was not my style, I like face-to-face active confrontation, and that is the reason why I invested so much time in my Hornet-Isida. I was aware that at higher ranks I would have had troubles against the several Shafts and Rails, and in effect you rarely see Hornet & Isidas in high-rank battles. In other words: I was aware of my weaknesses, but I did not care as long as I could play the way I like it. Now... Overnight I found myself with less self-healing power and less armour. For me it was already impossible to play in big maps as "Stadium" or against Shafts and Rails because I would be destroyed even before I started to move and I would never reach the enemy in time. After the "rebalancing" not only them, but also Thunders, Twins and Ricochets deal me a great amount of damage before I can reach them. You say we should hide a little more, but with an Isida the only way I can defeat the enemy is going face-to-face. Right now I feel like the only "surviving" strategy for my Isida would be to hide behind a corner and wait for someone to pass-by. That is to say I should camp as I would have done with a Shaft, but with less fire power and only in small enclosures. I'm not saying that this is not a good strategy, but if I wished to play like this I would have chosen another tank... I will not say things like "I will not play again", I still like the game and I will keep playing. I will see if I can still manage it with my Hornet-Isida and if not I will start all over again with some different combination. What I am trying to say is that, in my opinion, your analysts didn't look properly at the game statistics before taking such decisions. The fact that 50% of the players choose Hornet does not mean that Hornet is too strong and therefore needs to be "rebalanced". Maybe 50% of the players have an Hornet because it is cheaper, or because its higher levels unlocks earlier in the game, or because Wasp was too weak in comparison... Once again: as an "Hornet" player I already felt at loss against most of my opponents before. Now I feel just like a shooting target. Thank you anyway for all your efforts and have a nice day. JS

Everything was increased, significantly increased, slightly increased and so... Then I check my Hornet (that by the way was already quite weak in my opinion) and.... everything decreased. I hope at least that the range increase for the Isida will bring it to be enough to face a Freeze

Foul play discovered - you have been disconnected

Sorry for opening a new topic but the correct one is locked. Username: JoelStep About 20-30 minutes ago, I was playing CTF in Kohloz (this is the current link, if this can help: "http://tankionline.com/battle-en26.html#/battle/fffffffde29b4b73"), my team was winning and I was 3rd in the rankings. I was healing the teammate who held the enemy flag and I had Nitro. Suddenly I've been disconnected and the message "Foul play discovered - you have been disconnected" appeared. The game was running flawlessly, no lags or previous disconnections. I joined the battle again asap and we won the battle, though I only got 91 crystals instead of about 500. I don't really care about the lost crystals but please make sure that this doesn't happen again during more important battles :( Thanks, JS -
Scope is my favourite, Opposition too is nice
