Tanki is using google documents all the time. Or spreadsheets, call it however you want.

It must be video and it must be uploaded on youtube. You can download some free video recorded, it will take 2-3 minutes only. And it must be a rank up video. Doesn't matter if it's your own or someone else's rank up. You have to record video of it (with new year blue effect), edit it and send it on the link given on main page. :)

So many of you misunderstood sentence "ANY NUMBER OF WINNERS". This means that all great entries will win. And this is MUCH better than having 3 first places and no consolation prizes. With any number of winners you actually have a chance to win. Think about it, we have many good youtubers who do video editing very well. If they participate, they gonna win for sure. And what about others? They will work and win nothing. That's why ANY NUMBER OF WINNERS is better for all of us because it give us bigger hope and chance to win. I would understand if you commented on other arts, but shadewarttt is a pro at what he is doing and he made an awesome entry (in blender). He totally deserved to win. They didn't say anywhere that there must be only 5 people on someone's rank up. They only said that max 5 people can be submitted in that form they gave. So I guess if you record, you can decide whether you want to put only yourself or some of your friends too. What do you mean? If you are invited on rank up, you can record it and submit yourself only. If you make a plan with your friends how to organize some rank up, I suggest submitting them too. I hope I understood well. :|

The way you think about CM and others is wrong. CM is not responsible for everything. He is most likely here to give us all info about game updates, sales and contests. He is not game designer. You know what? - If I was on your place I would be proud of myself being so creative. I wouldn't care if I won or not, I would just be proud and I would go and keep on learning new tricks on photoshop, with goal to improve myself. I advice you to learn new things, try new things all the time, with bad or good pc, doesn't matter, it may be very useful to you in future. You don't have to do things only where there is some prize given. The real prize you get is knowledge. It's the most important thing. You are very creative, keep improving! You can record rank up of someone else. I guess there were more better ones. Life goes on, eh. It should be fine if you ask spectator to record and ask them to send you video. There will be as much winners as there are awesome videos. 10 great videos - 10 winners. 200 great videos - 200 winners. Hmmm, spectator mode is option which makes your life easier. Just kidding. It's option which allows you to fly around the map without players knowing that. You can take pictures from every corner, or record from every corner and yeah. It's awesome thing to have. But you must earn it by hard work. Like they remember everyone who is active on forum... Hhhhh. Trust me, they got much more important work to do than seeing who is active. And most of prizes went to people who really deserve it.

People who used photoshop could win also, and many of them won actually. But instead of just adding random transparent pictures, they put some shadows, light effects, color effect, tanks that actually fit the background. They made it look realistic. And everyone will choose to work with things they are better with. If I'm bad at photoshop, I will try to draw. If I'm bad at drawing and photoshop, I will try to make something out of plasticine and similar. You always need to think of few different ways and choose the best one to try and win. Who said that? It's totally useless to blame some awesome creative and talented people. It's not their mistake that they are being good in many things. Great, make sure you invite many people and ask them all to record. Help others. So? You can still record rank ups of other people. If you have it yes, if you don't have it, then how will you use it? You can ask spectator to make a video for you and you can send it on your name. In 5 minutes work you can't make anything awesome. But same time if you are making something for 5 hours, it doesn't mean it will look great. Anyway, if you think you are not good enough for these contests, then just go to battle and play. You can earn 5k in 3-4 battles. And about 50k, maybe soon there gonna be some kind of contest in which you can participate and win. Try seeing Rent-A-Spec topic, on main page you got explanation of contest. Super easy contests. Anyone can win there, but number of winners is limited to 3. Well, you go to someone's rank up, record it, edit it, and send it. Make sure it is some cool rank up and add some nice effects to video.

If you fail, try again. Lesson of life. Why someone won 50k and others 5k? Unlimited number of winners, what does it mean? Let me give you answers my dear. Unlimited number of winners means that if there are only 5 great entries, only 5 will win the special prize. If there are 50 great entries, all of them will get the prize. If someone tried to make something but it wasn't SO good enough, they will get consolation prize. People who made something just by adding tons of pictures on some background won't win anything because it's not considered as a hard work and it's totally not creative. First picture was judged by mistake. I myself went to admin to tell him that it's copied and he removed it asap with apology. They are humans too, not robots, IT HAPPENS. And trust me, they did check all entries as they are doing it every day (not to miss any of them). How do I know this? Well, I am in contact with them all the time, and every time I ask them something, they be super busy as they are checking entries. It's their work, it's something they must do. Record a rank up of your friend or someone's friend and try to win. It doesn't have to be your own rank up. Please read what I said to comment above about "unlimited number of crystals". And trust me, even tho I am a mod and I earn a bunch of crystals BY HARD WORK (to earn more, you gotta work more), I don't have even 1k now. Why? - On Monday is my salary. Every week I get paid for work I do. And the time I get paid is the time when my own contest finish. When contest finish, I must pay winners from my own pocket. So yes, I never have crystals with myself. I earn and give them away. I work for this community. But again, I can't give prizes to everyone with good entry, I gotta choose the best ones only. Yet, every week there is a different contest I am making, so every week everyone have chance to win. Contest is same time called a competition. And you know that if you are not good in these creativity things, you should not waste time in it. If I see some contest where I have to (giving example) show my singing skills, I won't participate because I know there are much more better singers than me. But even trying to participate should be fun. It's all just one more experience. 5 people is the max number of participants. Only 5 people (from one entry) can win the prize. They can record someone else's rank up. I'm not professional on photoshop. I know some basic things which I learned on youtube lessons. You can do the same too. Problem is, people nowadays are lazy to try something new. And by the way, no one asked you to do it with graphic software. As I said before, hand work is much more appreciated than photoshop skills. If Semyon is a community manager, it doesn't mean that he is doing all this work alone. Have some understanding, it's not easy. High quality footage doesn't mean recording from spectator mode. It means recording with a good recording software with all effects on and if possible putting some extra effects in editor. Everyone who think of their entry being "worthy" and better than others, please send to me in inbox, I will make sure you get consolation prize. To be honest, this is the goal of every game. To keep players active and entertained. I guess it would be much better for them to stop wasting their time on these contests, as there are many ungrateful people, and go on vacation like all normal people.

Nobody on this planet want to work for nothing. It's their job. And of course they will get paid for what they are doing. Like anyone else who has a job will get paid. I don't see anything weird there. You act like you never played any other game. I will make sure to tell them to choose 3 best entries. Fair enough? The best ones will win, with no consolation prizes. This will make them fair and non liars. You can record a rank up of a friend and still win the prize.

If you can see better, people who made something by their hands got more prizes than people who done things on photoshop. If that contest really meant so much to you, you could make tanks out of paper, draw something, make something interesting. This is a hard work and it's much more appreciated by developers.

Nobody is forcing you to participate. These contests are more like a favor to players. I am sure developers don't enjoy looking over hundreds or thousands entries every week. They do this to make you guys happy and give you a chance of winning. If your rank up has the new year effect (blue light) then you can send it. That was not a contest "Who spent the most time on creating a postcard". No matter how much hours or days you spent on it, if it's not good, you won't win. There are always people who are great in photoshop, blender, drawing etc and you must deal with it. Try better next time.

You are creating your own illusion here. If I wanted to win this, I would win it since I'm not bad with photoshop, but I guess I don't care much about these kind of contests. I let others participate. But having a name doesn't mean having a talent and being creative and having a fame will never guarantee you a winning position. Anyone can be pro. There are many small rank players who are pretty good in editing and recording.

Being a mod won't open all doors for you. This contest was all about creativity, not friendships with mods. Number will be as big as number of good entries. I mean, really good ones.
