To enhance the difference between buyers and non-buyers. Giving the buyers even more advance in battles in order to force/drag more players to pay money in order to make it to the top of battles. In other words, Pay To Win. TO is getting greedier update by update, it almost makes me think that the income of TO has been diminishing recently. Oh, wait! The income has been diminishing since there are not as many active players as two years ago. So, instead of changing the game to be more interesting to the players, the devs keep introducing changes towards pay to play and pay to win. Also, if you think the way the protection module compensation was done in batteries instead of crystals, you see this scheme even worse.

Good ideas. What I have done is I have played only a few times after the MM was introduced. And I have quit playing completely. I am not looking forward to the drone and protection module downgrades and what changes they made to my garage. Instead, I spend my time here in forum complaining the wrongs that the devs and managers have thrown to our faces.

Now, let me guess which downside list the devs are going to address and which one will completely ignore? Of course the devs will address the items on the bug-list, not the items on the "what's wrong with mismatchmaking system in general". Why? Because the bugs are just programming and optimizing parameters. Addressing the misMMS would force the devs to admit failure in introducing a new feature to the game. The concept of MM in TO will eventually kill TO if it is kept mandatory for all players. Despite all of this, I appreciate your personal reply. It's not the moderators of this forum that is the target of my wrath, it's the devs and the management. Please, moderators. Please relay the frustration and disappointment of the players who has taken the time to write to this chain. I ask this because we do not have any idea if our rants get any further than this forum.

The conversion of extra protection from modules to batteries is wrong. Totally wrong. Players have paid crystals for something that is constant and you are going to replace them with consumable items. The logic is flawed. You have to change the extra protection to crystals and crystals only. In other words, reimburse. And do not start whining that TO will not do this. You have done this in the past with the great re-balance (which eventually turned out to be rather good update).

Here's what I think is wrong on the whole concept of MM: 1. Inability to choose maps. We all have our favourites and dislikes. 2. Not possible to look for friends through the friends list and join them. 3. Not able to continue the same map after the current battle ends. 4. Inability to choose the side of battle. This applies especially to ASL mode. 5. Inability to call in reinforcements through friends list during battle 6. Lost time first waiting to join a battle and then orienteering yourself to the surroundings. 7. Inability to change sides on the current battle to keep it alive. 8. Inability to optimize your hull, protection and turret to match the map and playing style before joining a battle 9. Time lost for changing EQ after joining the battle to optimize performance Here is what is wrong by my opinion with the current implementation of MM: 1. Longish wait times joining battles 2. Being placed to a battle with only a few minutes on the clock 3. Being placed in one-sided battle. The current rate is unacceptable. 4. Balancing still does not work, too often there is a huge rank-gap. 5. After battle ends, you might end up in a different battle-mode. 6. Battles are not full from the beginning. 7. After players leave, their places are not necessarily filled. 8. Way too few maps in the random pool The bugs will eventually ironed out, but that does not change the opinion about MM. It sucks. It disrupts the whole game play of what TO used to be about. It changes the whole dynamics of the game so utterly and completely that it is just so unbelievable that this was ever introduced. MM was flagged as a total failure during testing a year ago and the public opinion has not changed from that time. There has been only a very few explanations from the devs why this change was introduced and I have to say that those few explanations have been extremely lame to say the least. I could have made a fortune by just selling crutches to these lame excuses by the devs. Yes, there are players who like this change and that is totally ok. Just do not try your opinion up as being the only truth.

It's not the devs calling the shots. It's the management and the owners. Unless the devs are the managers and owners. Devs are just puppets that gets their strings pulled.

Less maps = more boring Less maps = less variability Less maps = (evetually) less players. RIP TO. It was fun as long as it was fun.

About this downgrade you call MatchMaking. You take away my choice of maps to play and the team to join. You force me to join a random map with no clue how my equipment or better yet, my playing style with my eq suits that map. You had the "Battle!" button on the menu for quite a long time, but we do not see the stats how many players chose to use that option. Forcing MatchMaking to everyone is a bad move, really bad. It takes away our freedom of choice to play what we want. Make it optional and see how popular wit will become. You keep the Pro-battles just like they were, but now I have to pay crystals to play like I used to, choosing maps and teams on my own. Again, this is not an upgrade, this is a downgrade and shows how arrogant and ignorant you are towards players and this seems to be by choice. I know not everyone agrees with me, but if you bow to one direction, you unwillingly show your asshole to the opposite direction. Guess which scenery I am currenlty watching? This downgrade is the cherry on top. There has been so many bad or downright ****ty "upgrades" over the past two years and you keep loosing players. Why continue? Why not admit that mistakes were made and get some most-wanted features back. Like the map "enhancements". You claim that maps were edited to suit 10 vs. 10 players and now you have decided that MM is 8 vs. 8 players but you do not bring the old maps back. Lame excuses is all I have heard. Hull modifications were also just horrible. Now, instead a number of different hulls, we have basically three different hulls with only minor differences. Wasp used to be really fast, but now it is just a slimmer version of Hornet. Mammoth and Titan are way too close to each other and Viking, Hunter and Dictator do not differ that much on the stats. You say game balance, I say bull****. The ultimate balance will be when all turrets and hulls have same stats. Last but not least: REMOVE MAGNUM TURRET ASAP!!!! This was the ****tiest upgrade ever ever ever to happen on TO. Maps are not designed for this turret and it has ruined a nubmer of old maps that were fun to play. The worst example is Noise. Stick magnum somewhere were the sun will never shed even a single ray of light. Ever.

Gone for good, I'm afraid. Fun is not a word in the vocabulary of the devs. Dictatorship is. This game has been going downhill for the past two years. Time to jump ship and carry my few pennies elsewhere. TO does not deserve them.
