This is a misconception. Developers are too thick to understand that the money being poured into the game is not because of the updates, but only because of certain players and feuds. Funny enough, they don't care about the game.
And the players that did care about the game, the developers ruined it for them by creating hated updates. When a topic is about to get -500 dislikes, maybe it's a wake up call, that they should listen to the players. They hit their peak, and ignored the players and died since. I don't feel the game will last until the start of 2022. To be honest, the game would die, as it's just a flash game and doesn't have the numbers to attract more players let alone an established eSports which was removed with the disappearance of SLTV.
But the game could've easily lasted to 2025. JUST TANKS SUCKS, and the developers don't care about the players or the game. I sense they will close Tanki, and say it was just a prolonged project and go make another dull game which won't ever attract the players it would need to survive.
I remember the days when test server was alive, Tanki right now isn't even at that level. Every player says it's because updates, and you get naive moderators/developers that ARGUE, and don't admit their FAULTS.
I think it's better no player complains, and that we let the developers ruin this game to the bin, and close this game once and for all for the benefit of everyone.
