  1. I am giving http://worldoftanks.eu/ a try. The staggering arrogance displayed by some of the replies players/developers. The lack of concern towards the people who have invested in the particular turret, leaving them no option to change to another without investment loss. And pig headed 'advice ' on telling them to change their tactics and gameplay to adapt to an unwanted change which was put in to pander to other players for exactly the same reasons they are now telling shafts to suck up and live with, has encouraged me on this. Perhaps WOT modify their tanks as well but so far it does not look as if the have shafted a particular group of their players, pun intended.
  2. Well, that's removed shaft from the game then. Used to be a challenging opponent, but players found it too hard so now it is a neutered puppy with no defence against anything except other shafts. "other tankers found them frustrating to deal with", well shafts found all close combat tanks frustrating to deal with. If you want to be fair then give shaft players the option of trading in their turret & hull combo for the same level of another combo.

    Improving the game!

I tried night mode and agree. What is even worse is that in the day maps the big target, "I'm here please shoot me" is still there. Why not just remove shafts from the game if you hate them that much? All you have done here is negate the effort people have put into upgrading their tanks. Shaft used to be unstable so that you could not just pick a spot and shoot, it too skill and was easy to miss, especially fast opponents. We are dead in close combat and just like "you" don't like being shafted because we can sniper you we don't like being destroyed close up where we have no chance of surviving unless our opponent is really poorly skilled. I don't see anyone complaining about this, you just have to learn to play better, pick your spot, use mine, work as part of a team. Likewise if you are getting snipered then learn to play better, spot where it is coming from, dive in zig zag, learn to count as our reload is pitifully slow, go in pair, we can only get one of you, find an alternative route to get to where you want,...... Because guess what, shafts are pretty good a t killing other shafts too. Now you don't have to worry at all because shaft players will just quit. If these changes remain I would happily swap my turret and hull for the same lvl of another turret and hull because this is just useless. However removing the shaft from the game changes the game play element hugely, you will have a very different Tanki, and not a better one.

    Upgrade or buy M1

Do you mean skip M1 and go M0 to M2?

    Upgrade or buy M1

If you have chosen a turret like Thunder, is there any point in upgrading all the features such as damage, reload or should you try to by M1? So does M1 start with the same features whether you have upgraded M0 or not? Does it cost more to fully upgrade M0 then buy M1? If you only upgrade some M0 features then buy M1, do you get any discount or have you wasted your crystals?

How is your place in the team calculated

I am new here and have been playing some team games. I noticed in some games the score given to each player does not seem to follow number of kills - number of losses ration. Is there any explanation of how this is worked out?
