Congrats. The top "developers' choice" was epic. Loved the "freeze" effect. But I wonder why we didn't get a chance to see them before voting? Language?

Miss TO 2014 - Voting in Tankers' Choice category

SSister gets my vote; her video to me showed the most love of the game. -
There's only one thing for it. They have to make the building taller and issue another challenge.

Teammates who push for no good reason. -
How do you feel, When you saw "Gold box will be dropped soon"?

I think, "Oh ****, I'm driving a Wasp"! Then again, I've gotten a few. -
One way to help the problem would be to change the way players are allowed to join. Instead of trying to keep teams numerically equal, Tanki should try to factor in the relative rank-strength of the teams. So that a 7 vs. 5 or 10 vs. 7 battle might be possible -- if it suits the ranks in play. Not only would it make for more closely-matched battles, it would lessen the impact of mults, which tend to be low-rank for the battles they join. If mults see they are having less influence on the outcome, their motivation will fade.
-
Yes, but the problem can be reduced by making the ranking-range smaller. That way you don't get "noobs" in the battle. Or, at least less noobish.
-
That is not a problem of "kick", it's a problem of the allowed ranks being too wide.
-
Currently, Tanki attempts to maintain numerical equivalence between the teams. Might be better to calculate the relative strength of the teams overall, based not just on the number, but also ranks of the players and have newcomers join the weaker side, even if that means a 7 vs. 5 battle, for instance. Would also tend to lessen the effect of low-ranking mults who are just there to drag down your side. Of course people will find ways to game this too. Clever little buggers, your species are.

This seems vague to me. Often in a CTF match, the score becomes lopsided and many opponents leave. Sometimes a few remain, and don't do much fighting. Are these "mults"? How am I to know? Am I allowed to kill them? How many times can I kill them without them fighting back, before I'm supposed to know/guess they are "mults" and off-limits, instead of unskilled players or players who are just passing time until the match ends or hoping for others to join, and aren't fighting because it's pointless at 6 vs. 2 and out-ranked?

Players purposely generating lag?
Bozotic replied to Bozotic in Players purposely generating lag? Archive
Has anyone noticed that sometimes you will only encounter lag effects with certain enemy players, and then only when you are in contest with them? You sneak up and they are running as smooth as ice. You attack and suddenly they are bouncing around like a butterfly. Lag City. Is it just my imagination or does lag sometimes just seem too "convenient"? Clients dropping packets on purpose? -
Duh! I just realized I've been confusing Shaft and Railgun this whole time. It's the railgun that I hear spooling up... and I am doomed. Such is the short busy life of the Wasp pilot.
