Well, it's been fun, but I hearby resign from leadership of the club. I am too inactive to successfully run it, so I officially promote @snipe3000 to the leader. I will leave for a while, but I will rejoin again in a month or two. The topic will be given to snipe soon, but from now on he is your new leader. I wish you all the best of luck, and farewell for the next month! ~@CombatCat2

Really? I get a good enough tan in the summer without traveling anywhere, and I live a lot farther north than any of those states...

[Story] Intergalactic Wars [Part 1] [UN]

I know. I just assumed that because you compared it to writing that it was writing itself...

Thank you. I would also say that I appreciate you taking the time to talk with me and calling the Club out on some things we shouldn't have done. Thank you and I wish you the best of luck with everything you do ;) Darren, just because it's "Your Articles" doesn't make plagiarizing right.

[Story] Intergalactic Wars [Part 1] [UN]

Thanks guys. You might find that the next part is a bit slower. There will be a few more descriptions coming. The first part was meant to be more fuzzy, as it plays a part later in the story, so I didn't describe anything in it. Emotions? Eewwww. Kidding, we'll see. I haven't read that; any copying wasn't intentional. Hopefully the next parts will separate more from the story you have mentioned.

The first thing that I'm going to say is that I'm too lazy to respond to your text wall with one of my own, I will try to keep it short(er). I suppose it would some, but maybe not as much as you think. For one, I didn't even know that there were specific editors who, well, edit, and I didn't know that the Reporters had the opportunity to read others' articles before they were released, which would lead me (and anyone else who has/had the same view as me) to see less blame on the other Reporters and more on the writer of it. But yes, I could see where it'd still reflect on the others. I can see where that'd be true. However, again speaking from my own experiences, I do find a fair amount of articles boring, but I don't see the Official Newspaper as boring. I just skip the less-interesting articles and read the ones that peak my interests. Then I look forward to reading some of your articles when you return. Again, I don't agree with them, it wasn't right of them to attack you just because you read something you didn't like as much, and I won't defend them for that; I'm with you there. And to the last part: fair enough. I can see where the low esteem comes from. Recently, plagiarism and horrible grammar are taking over the articles to the point where it pains me to read them (not saying everyone in the club, just a few). No, I wouldn't like it if it were me; I would do something similar if I found out. I understand your position. The only thing I would do differently is take it to the people who said it instead of everyone in general. Maybe that isn't the smart thing to do; maybe it isn't the right thing to do and you're right like always, but it's what I would do, as it would avoid an "argument" like this. Sorry, I didn't intend to make it seem like it was a negative comment. I was just using your words. I didn't want it to seem as if you liked it more or less, so I used the same word as you. You know, as they say, imitation is one of the sincerest forms of flattery. I respect you as a higher-ranked, more skilled, former moderator. Could you please tell me how I can improve my articles? Thank you. Yes, this part of it was shorter than the others. The rest of it will be a bit more action-packed, if I'm in the club long enough to post the rest. All I have to say is that you're right, I'm wrong, as always. Yes, they should've asked "Why?" Yes, I should've simply asked "Why?" Yes, I shouldn't have started this fight. I feel that you misinterpreted what I said because I didn't explain it enough. You are correct, I haven't heard you say "I don't like this." I was implying that simply downvoting without saying anything is similar to saying that you just don't like it. And again, I underexplained the "not continue" part. Yes, feel free to continue downvoting, I didn't mean for you to stop that, I meant that when you downvote, you could say why. And that statement is rendered useless by what you said after that about the whole feedback thing. Yes, it's a privilege to receive feedback. I hope my clearing up my lack of explaining sort of "fixes" the "unfounded accusation." I didn't mean to accuse you of saying "I don't like this." Maybe it sounded that way. I'm sure it did, which would make you right again. One more thing, and that is this: I would like you to know that I do not enjoy arguing, especially with people of actual importance, so I am basically just bridging the gap between your view and my view. In other words, you're right, I'm probably wrong. Case closed. I hopefully don't have to keep arguing for a hopeless cause, as I will lose at one point or another.

Very true, but to use your example, if one Reporter screwed up and, say, plagiarized an article, would that make the entire Reporter team look bad? Probably not. It'd reflect back on the person who did it, and, if dealt with properly, probably wouldn't have a major effect on the rest of the team. Who knows, maybe in your eyes it would be a complete disgrace to the rest of the Reporters, but it doesn't seem completely that way to me since I know I would be thinking "Well, that Reporter's a fool. Rest of the team seems fine." Then maybe I shouldn't be handling this myself, but nobody else seemed like they would, and I can't let it go instantaneously when myself or an organization I'm in is "insulted." Also, I'm not saying I agree with them; I very much don't. People don't downvote things for no reason, and, although I didn't read any of your Reporter articles, just by reading some of your posts (the ones above), I can tell you deserved the position and probably were missed when you left. No, not respectful; no, not contribution; no, not the right way to react; etc etc, but I can see where they got the speculation. When you downvote the main topic and some of the posts/articles, it kind of implies that you don't like the organization (especially when a handful of the other Reporters also don't like the people trying to be like them...) Again, maybe you don't, but I'm just stating what I see through my eyes. Thank you. I hope the next part is as "decent" as this one was. And Gold, 1 more thing before I quit "arguing" with you: Please don't keep up what you're doing. Yes, you have a right to voice your criticism through downvotes, but the least you can do is either say why you don't like it, or say what can be done to improve it. Just saying "I don't like this" doesn't help anyone; all it does is decrease moral, but constructive criticism can be helpful.
  19. If I were you, I'd save yourself from using thousands of double powers pass on it. I only use it in Polygon CP, and I can't do anything with it unless I'm getting the crap yelled out of me for drugging like mad using a few supplies here and there. But it is rather good, it's still somewhat effective at this rank, more so at the lower ranks.

Thank you, sir, for accusing the whole club of something 3 people did, 1 of which has never even been in the club (the first link). Maybe you weren't directing it at the whole club, but it really seemed that way. There are a lot of people who work hard writing articles for this club, and what you said kind of takes away credit from them. Yes, I saw, read, and understood some things that obviously weren't appealing to you, but that's no reason to imply that the whole club is bad. At least there's nothing wrong with my article =)
