Thank Gorgonzola it's OVER!!!!!! Back to being able to know what the heck we're doing playing this game. PLEASE DON'T EVER BRING IT BACK, EVER.

Can't see mission progress while in a battle, can't know what my mission is while in a battle, have to wait to join a battle already underway, having to wait to join a battle I have no idea what map, make-up, players present or otherwise, some maps have been changed, lag, it's a true trainwreck. I'm a devoted daily mission completing player but won't be able to be one if this is what we are to expect.

Terrible, not going to wait to get into a battle I have no idea what map, ranks, score, anything, and suddenly pop into a battle and I've ended up in it because my side is losing and the other side is killing hard. There's no way to complete missions and end up choosing battles due to friends already playing. It's INCREDIBLE to me that Tanki continues down this road. I have amassed a gigantic amount of supplies because I don't drug like mad and I'm a loyal mission completer (daily logger inner) but this update, if it sticks, will cause me to find some other diversion. It's changed so much in 2017 already that many of my once loyal daily player friends are nowhere to be found. Let's hope it's a fluke like when crystals were dropping from the sky all over every map and players became Crystal Zombies.

AND NOW THIS: Much less likely to get crystal rewards for missions and the cost of changing missions has increased. And I was hoping the Missions only in Non-PRO battles was an April Fools' Joke!!! As for the rank brackets, whatevs, anyone can buy an M3 kit and MU it to their hearts content; it's exp and skills that win battles. I'll stick with PRO battles w/o drugs, more fun and skills based. Posted 06 Apr 2017 - 13:21 Patch Update 453 - Released 7th April 2017 Changes to Daily Missions:Rewards for missions increased by another 10% compared to rewards before Patch Update #451; Rewards for Daily Mission Chains and prices for changing missions increased proportionally; Probability of getting crystals as a reward in daily mission decreased to 37%. Rank limits when creating a battle changed:Default rank brackets for Legends decreased to Fieldmarshal - Legend; Default rank brackets for Generalissimos decreased to Brigadier - Generalissimo; Rank brackets for other ranks slightly expanded. Prices of Product Kits in the Shop decreased. Various server optimizations. SLOWLY TURNING THE SCREWS...

The supplies needed to complete missions now is the reason this update was created; Tanki wants us to spend $ in order to have the supplies needed for some of these missions. The need to generate revenue is curtailing the quality of the game. Yes, the game was created to make money, that's why it exists, but this particular update, not being an April Fool's prank, is extraordinarily ridiculous. But, I do like this recommendation and found it helpful as well: misafeco, on 03 Apr 2017 - 08:53, said:

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS MISSIONS HAVE TO BE COMPLETED IN NON-PRO BATTLES!!! Seriously, 91.2% of my time is spent in drug free, pick up only, PRO battles, that's why I play this game. Don't MAKE US go to Non-PRO battles and attempt to complete our missions with druggers run amok. T'ain't right. I don't need my weekly drug allotment, though I like to receive it, but I like the weekly crystals and that's why I do it, partly to pay for my PRO pass!!!! Come on TANKI, we know you were created to generate revenue but this is a HUGE turnoff. Can I get a witness!??!?!?!?!

Discounts and goodies for the Iron Days celebrations!
mugzi replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
Iron Days celebrations is actually celebrating a Russian holiday: Defender of the Fatherland DayFirst celebrated in 1919 the holiday marks the date in 1918 during the Russian Civil War when the first mass draft into the Red Army occurred in Petrograd and Moscow (on 17 February).[1] In January 1919 it was decided to combine the celebration that day with the anniversary of the publication of the decree on the establishment of the Red Army (of 18 February 1918).[1] In 1919 February 17 fell on Monday; so it was decided to move the holiday to the nearest Sunday – 23 February.[1] Since then it stayed that day.[1] It was originally known as Red Army Day (Russian: День Красной Армии).[1] In 1923 it was officially named the Day of the Red Army and the Navy.[1] In 1949, it was renamed Soviet Army and Navy Day (Russian: День Советской Армии и Военно-Морского флота / Dyen' Sovyetskoy Armii i Voyenno-Morskogo flota).[1] Following the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, the holiday was given its current name in 2002 by Russian President Vladimir Putin who decreed it a state holiday (in Russia).[2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defender_of_the_Fatherland_Day -
The experiment was a success. Please make it a permanent part of the game. It will encourage players to develop their skills more instead of relying on their supplies as much as they currently do. Of course, the real fun and need for skills takes place in PRO battles w/o the use of on board power ups. ALSO, each and every spawn should have to wait to self-enhance, not just the 1st time you enter a battle. :) ;) :P :D  :(   ^_^ :o B) -_- <_<

Patch Update #441 - Changes to Isida, Hammer and Shaft, and other changes

I agree completely, the alteration is not worth anything! -
Patch Update #441 - Changes to Isida, Hammer and Shaft, and other changes

Isida is much stronger now, the self heal had been nerfed so much last year to hardly matter and this is a nice tradeoff. ^_^ -
Patch Update #441 - Changes to Isida, Hammer and Shaft, and other changes
mugzi replied to theFiringHand in News Archive
OK, I came here after reading about the update but before I played with the new changes. Here I am again to say that Isida's damage is powerful, given they nerfed self healing last year and now taken it away entirely, they added a heap of damage. I hope they do not nerf this later. Makes me want to use Isida more than I have since the nerf. I guess that's why they did it. BUT, the NanoBot alteration is completely worthless now!!!!!! As for Hammer, fewer pellets but adding one ricochet is a lot of fun. 9 pellets make the cone seem narrower, reloading quicker between and waiting longer for the reload is a nice balance. I wanted to poo poo this update but it's better than now. But I will say, I am not looking forward to getting Shaft!!!!! :(  :P B) -

Patch Update #441 - Changes to Isida, Hammer and Shaft, and other changes

I stopped using my M3 Isida so much when it's self-healing was nerfed. Feeling dubious that you removed self-healing entirely! Can't one alteration be that it is able to self-heal?!?! The increase in damage will be interesting to try out, but now that Tanki is continuously adjusting all the turrets, it's difficult to know where to place one's valuable crystals for MU's. As for Hammer, players have long felt it was out of balance. All the same, all these adjustments and the introduction of alterations are coming so rapidly at this point, it almost appears desperate. Income generation is what drives Tanki. People have to remember, the game was created to generate revenue! That being said, I don't want to see the need for increased profits continue to compromise a game anyone reading this loves to play. Having to keep up with the constant roll out of adjustments is wearisome, try leaving it alone for a fortnight or two!! O_o >...< -
Maybe this'll make some players more prudent in their substance use habits, since they can't earn the crystals to buy bulk supplies. Buyers will continue to buy of course but this is another attempt to monetize the game. Obviously, this game was created to generate revenue, that's what video games are for! But we can continue to have fun nonetheless. Good Luck on the battlefield and Tank-it-EZ :D

Let's discuss the updated system for earlier battle finish
mugzi replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
I can't stand the constant horn blowing! I only have sound on when I have the flag. I do not enjoy the new update and think that it needs to be modified. Also, it is happening multiple times per minute. The algorithm needs to be worked on or you need to take it away. It is ok to lose a battle by a large margin! Also, with the time constantly shifting, you really don't know when the game is going to end. All in all, I am not happy with it, but the noise is simply too loud, constant and annoying. :(  :o   -
Yes, this is an improvement indeed, as long as the battle fund accurately represents the additional crystal boxes that wont be dropping, it is a great thing! That will make teams play more like teams, trying to work together to win crystals at the end of game play instead of competing for boxes which proved mighty distracting to the Crystal Zombies! <_< Good work listening to people Tanki, you help us feel that we are part of the ongoing development of this wonderfully addictive endeavor, keep it up. :D

I never felt compelled to post before and today marks my first time, though this post is technically my 2nd. Maybe Tanki will have to allow players the option of creating games that do not have crystal drops at all!!!!!!!! That would be wonderful if they intend on leaving this new update in place.

This is "literally" a Game Changer but at first and second look, I'm not feeling good about this. The cool downs update I liked immediately, quieting all the noob/drugger talk, but the 100, 50 and 20 crystal boxes are EXTREMELY ENCHANTING to most players and turning them into Crystal Zombies. That's my term, feel free to use it. Seriously, marking where what power up falls where is somewhat annoying as I think anyone playing the game for an hour or so figures out pretty quickly. Also, you've moved the power ups into new locations, which is a bit vexing, but there appears to be many more power ups all over the place. While I don't LOVE that change, the Crystal Boxes ARE Seriously and Negatively augmenting game play . I'm not saying this to be a poopy pants, I love Tanki, I'm addicted to this game. Crystal Zombies are afoot and it's not as fun when one's team mates have lost their Bloody Minds to some Shiny Boxes offering Little Jerky Treats disguised as Crystals!!! <_<
