You are asking players, customers for an answer from a technology, creator, developer point of view. Of course they say "its great.", hardly a "no". When talking about a technology solution, there is always a requirement : What is it for ? It´s always exciting to know how an application or a specific computer tool works, but even after you replicate Tanki yourself, which is a milestone in your life, will people go to yours or the free Tanki 24/7 online always updated ? Could you maintain the source code for years with numerous unresolved bugs alive ? From other forums, many good software don´t need to have the best code. Just say that you release your code so that people could run on their LAN servers, will people go to their servers or Tanki servers ? My advice is : Don´t reinvent the wheel. Use what you know and keep on learning for other projects. Some games just need pixel 2d graphics of mario age to get on top of mobile games markets for months. You need ideas too.

I dont know which route they take, but in the end of the tournament, they will be the victory, as if everything is in their plan. It´s interesting.

Then go play Tanki on flash with your PC then lol. They are not killing Flash version when Unity version is out. Flash is for PC, and dead on mobile devices. Tanki use Unity for mobile devices, not Adobe AIR for them. Tanki would like to have something to fall back to when Flash may not be actively supported anymore.

:-) I think you guys should think more. Flash is good, stable, long term support for years. Why would they move away to Unity if it doesn't make any profits ? I guess Tanki new focus will be on mobile. Go mobile, go younger. Flash is not cross-platform on mobile devices, not saying about the power-hungry "feature", which is theoretically debatable. Unity works on mobile devices, such as templ* r*n game. On miniclip, there are games requires Unity. Its hard to integrate 2 different systems while 1 system could solve the problem. About the option for drug in pro battles, it's more a problem of the underlying engine than policy. From Hazel posts in open testing topic, I think implementing it would do no much harm for Tanki, not saying that more good than harm, but they have no choice with the current system. About the "childish" part, the skill side of tanki is solid now with StarLadder. A child cannot enter a team there without learning. What Tanki looks like now is like a technology discipline topic in a party. It's hard to discuss or recommend to others if you cannot win most battles when one or two 234 isida m1 wasp m1 smoky m1 thunder m1 dominating at master-sergeant rank without pain. Tanki now is ok with the skills part for most adults, what they are looking for is the popularity like those "free2play" games on mobile and pcs, laptops out there. So all updates recently are all for that, weaker kits, smart cooldowns, etc. They are clearing the way. Designs and shapes fits younger age kids more. You pay for the game to serve you better. It proves that you are wrong. You pay but you own nothing, thats how online games business works. They will move to which benefits them the most in the end, benefits for buyers are temporary.

Please, we are not in Medieval age. When we talk about science and technologies, game engines and framework to be specific, please back up with proof and evidence. Otherwise, people looking in can hardly tell who is who.

Use standalone flash ?

The devs said current servers can not handle 2 types of drugging at once, and it took 2 hrs of maintenance for this smart cooldown. So this is an one-way trip. No way to come back. The game is less fun now for druggers in terms of easy kills. However, its more interesting as i can see more skilled xp players of top ranks playing with low rank players.

Did you read the EULA before playing the game ? Did those hardcore-druggers read EULA just once after all those years long of tanki playtime, when it's just right in front of their eyes in the homepage ?If yes, they read it and still complain it ? You should thank the devs. This game is very generous to serve these irrational minds. You are right. You didn't pay for this. Not only for fun, but also for your own trouble you also paid. Remember it's you, not Tanki, who took the money out of your pocket. Please give Tanki a break because you can't stop yourself ignoring the EULA or this is the first time things go not the way you want. To people who threatened or "fed" the Tanki business, Tanki didn't ask for their money or stole them but they made them so much happy to hand Tanki money themselves. Even they enjoyed for years after that. Tanki are way smarter than those players and able to improvise to earn more money without them. If you are a quitter, it is very nice and loyal of you to give Tanki more web traffic by complaining every day so they can advertise to the world how many visitors they can get a day.

If you are trying to achieve your goals in real life, i dont know how you can have the effort to comment that long and so persistently. They got professionals, they got real data, and calculations, and you just sit on your chair, and question them how they do their jobs. Nice.

Easiest way would be your local news, local geek forum ,...ISPs websites often have info about their submarines cable, maybe more than 1 cable. Traceroute to pin point the cable i am using by connecting the landing sites together and match it with the submarine cable map. If I find missing packets that should come from overseas location or over long response time, very highly that it is broken if around that area there is heavy traffic or its not deep enough. Test again with other servers not from tanki to be sure.

Thanks. Nothing is wrong except me. I kept that assumption for too long. It takes more than 30 mins for me to load until the changing password and email prompt appears on firefox, mainly on googleapis and miniclipcdn. Opera needs less time. Choose allow all script on NoScript Addon in Firefox. My lesson is : If something doesn't work, try opera browser first. Well, problem solved.

Follow the pinned topic in the problems and solution section to check for the ping results and where is causing you lags. Or DIY, use ping to find out the ping time. And tracert or traceroute to figure out if the submarine cable connecting your ISP to Europe is broken or not, match it with the cable map on the web to narrow down your guess. My ping now to c5.tankionline.com is over 400ms all the time and the AAG submarine cable is broken. So i know its not tanki fault in my case.

As the international submarine fiber optic cable AAG is broken, I'm unable to reach tankionline with a low ping, and miniclip is inaccessible to me. I will provide more updated test results as well as confirm your result later when the cable is fixed.

About standalone flash player : Downgrade from flash 14 to 13 due to numerous problems inside flash 14 from Adobe, I agree. Now downgrade from flash 13 to flash 11 due to technical problems from tanki. I'm starting to think Tanki are lacking of developers to test this small update thoroughly before the release.

Its weired that for any new updates, we have to downgrade our flash standalone player. Please test it thoroughly and then give us the news. Flash 13 is an extended release, which is pretty stable. This problem is on tanki side, please solve it.

This problem with tanki inside miniclip has been since 2013, but nobody fixes this. Tanki accounts created through miniclip.com portal cant change passwords and email by using the automatic account recovery process provided by Tanki. Links to change passwords and emails are sent to the linked email, but that link just lead to the miniclip tanki portal with login or signup prompt. The only way now to change pass or email for these accounts is through manual account recovery with help@tankionline.com, which takes almost 2-5 days. The last time I changed pass was on Sep 8, and I had to go through manual account recovery in 5 days with help@tankionline.com . To make it a bug report, this is how to reproduce the bug : 1. Go to miniclip site and then Tanki Online Game in multiplayer section. 2. Create a tanki account. 3. When you are logged into Tanki, go to Settings and click on the button to change password and email. 4. A message pops up that a confirmation letter has been sent to your linked email. 5. Log out. Go to your linked email and there will be the link. Here is my old link 6. Then follow the link, it leads you back to the login or signup prompt. No prompt to change password or email. With accounts created from the main site of tankionline, these links do their jobs, but not with accounts created through miniclip.com . The same thing happens when you clicked on the Lost nickname or password link in the login prompt. Please solve this problem. Thanks.
