This was a very good attempt to bring fast gameplay back into the game, and I have been seeing increased battlefunds, which is great. What I am not happy about is the Gold Box notification. It was fun to be able to challenge other players in trying to get the Gold Box, but now, we don't know when it will land until it does. So the strategy of how to stay alive in order to find the box is useless now that it has already dropped.
