The paint Clay has 50 Rico protection. Only the genissimoss(no clue how to spell) can buy it tho for like 250k cry

I don't understand why you are comparing the two. They must be treated like different weapons with different purposes on the battlefield. It's like trying to compare Twins and Railgun, they both have different purposes and strengths. In more open maps railgun work better while twins work better in smaller maps. Same with fire/freeze where freeze is more useful on defense while firebird if good for offense and getting kills.

Except Rico the rest are pretty decently balanced...

Depends on the team comp you are facing. At your rank just focus on getting crystals for turrent/hull upgrades and worry about paint later. A good and cheap paint against isida would be Alien.

Afterburn is annoying, if I'm using hornet the firebird will almost kill me, an Isida will heal me to full and then I'll still die to afterburn...

Well smoky has a further range, can crit, and doesn't have to wait every couple of shots. Plus the shooting sound doesn't annoy the heck out of the user like Rico.

I think the after effects are pretty well balanced, one is not really significantly better.
