I really like it. High XP gain, flexible range and direction, and very good teamplay. That said, if you run out of charge/ammo, you're in a pretty bad situation.

Not my favorite, but good for a tank that is constantly in battle, moving quickly.

Powerful and very fun to play. Infinite possibilities! Also has the advantage of being the single most common weapon used in format battles, by a huge margin.

One of my main weapons since I first got it. Use Wasp or Hornet, charge around the battlefield, and destroy other tankers. I personally think it is best for TDM and DM games because just torching every enemy tank you see is actually the point of those game modes.
-
I like it, but the one thing that has always bothered me is that it can be destroyed in one shot by a railgun of the same level. Also, Thunder can destroy it quickly (does anyone know exactly how many shots? I don't remember.)

I'm not sure if it's good or not, but I would think that the reason it's not used much is because people looking for a really heavy tank usually will pick Mammoth instead. However, its speed is substantially better than Mammoth's, so I occasionally use it.

One of my favorites due to short reload and reasonable range and damage. Some more psychological advantages: 1. Quite difficult to tell where shots are coming from. People really get freaked out if a Smoky is repeatedly hitting them and they can't tell where. 2. People are more afraid to approach it because of the unpredictability of critical hits. 3. Criticals just make me feel lucky! ^_^

I personally think that it's okay, especially with a light hull that allows you to circle people, but it really encourages people trolling heavy tanks by almost killing them so they are at about 1% speed and someone else can kill them easily. That said, it is an extremely effective weapon, especially on defense and/or CTF battles.

I would probably go with Cyclone, although I like Spitfire also.

Night Mode for maps and Shaft’s laser scope
jonah_infinite_tank replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
I really like this update! Night mode is cool, especially with the glows and lasers, and shaft is actually better that before. You cannot continually keep a scope in one spot for an ambush, but the lack of movement makes it easier to shoot a moving target. Instead of people repeatedly getting killed by camping shaft users, the snipers will actually have to have skill to target others. Also, it means that you can actually get to the other side of the arena without being shot, if you are good at dodging. I write this as someone who often uses shaft, but only in an active way. I hate shaft ambushes; they annoy everybody else and steal their kills. This is just my opinion, and I may get voted down for this, but I think this is a great update. Also: To the Tanki Developers (if they read this), I would really appreciate it if open testing would be available sooner and for longer. I really appreciate it, as it not only gives people a chance to test the new update, but gives lower ranks like me a chance to experience strategy at higher equipment and rank levels. -
I sort of like this update, but there aren't that many crystal boxes. If there were more, then maybe less people would fight about each box. Right now, to get any crystals from drops, you have to join a really big battle and make the battle fund even bigger. Increasing the number of crystal drops might be helpful. However, this is just my opinion, and I do understand other people's concerns about mults, crystal wars, and other things.
