The End of the World Today is July 8, 2027. It was today, that the team of scientists and medical experts thought they had discovered a medical breakthrough in the modern era, at least thats what they thought….. It was a normal day in the lab, when the lead scientists in the project had discovered the missing equation that could work in regenerating broken limbs. Human trails were granted permission and so with the first injection in the one legged patient, the medical specialists continued with extreme caution and anxiety. It was a tense moment for all the scientists as the drug was injected into the patient’s artery. Almost immediately the patient began shaking uncontrollably and with shock the doctors tried to settle him onto the bed. He laid flat and still for only a few moments before the doctor realised that the patient had lost a pulse. At that moment it was all rush, the doctor yelling out, “get the paddles”, the scientists all on their feet, wondering if they had made a mistake in their calculations or if that was the normal process. The doctor grabs the paddles and yells out, “charging to 100”, then with a great shock the patient was revived with a strong pulse and a strange stare at the doctor holding the paddles. The doctor with a sense of amazement and awe, saw the leg of the patient regrowing almost instantly. She turned her head and checked his pulse on the monitor. Pulse is stable. Heartbeat and EEG readings are all normal. The patient then turned his head toward the doctor and mouthed a few words which she could not understand. He began shaking again, even more this time. The assistants restrained him to his bed. His face started changing colour and a evil eyed stare changed the expression of the faces on the medical personnel in the infirmary. The patient began making unusual and loud roaring noises, and then it happened. With a sense of terror, the personnel in the infirmary all realised the result of the mistake of the scientists. The patient had now turned into an evil monster. The monster pulled his arms and legs out from the restraints with great strength and walked towards the doctor. He grabbed her by the neck and threw her violently against the glass window. The glass shattered, screams of terror and emergency alarms filled the room. Without hesitation, the security guards raised their firearms and fired multiple rounds into the monster. The monster growled and roared and ran furiously towards the guards, killing them instantly. The monster then walked towards on of the scientists who cornered themselves attempting to escape. The monster then reached out, and touched the scientists on the chest and they too were changing colour and and roaring furiously. Soon the whole world would fall victim to the mistake that turned the world upside down. What happens now, do the military take action and try to end it or do the monsters take over the world?
