Judging by the video, the recoil looks pretty strong but the shots don't seem to have any impact force like rico, that would be a downside when face to face with a rail or shaft about to shoot. Any idea what the range will be? I can imagine it will be a mid-range weapon similar to twins and rico, range shouldn't be too long since ammo is unlimited.

I can think of some problems with the new machine gun turret. When using double power, will that heat up and destroy your tank twice as fast? I think that many people using this turret will gain an unfair advantage by always using double armor which would cut the overheat damage in half or by using repair kit when they start to overheat allowing them to start shooting again and giving them twice as many shots before overheating. I can imagine that bigger hulls will go with this gun since small ones would destroy themselves too quickly. Another unfair advantage would be defenders with a mammoth and machine gun would be almost indestructible with a freeze or isida beside them.

I find it unfair that M3 Ricochet unlocks at Commander. M3 Railgun, Shaft and Thunder are all hugely powerful and yet they unlock far earlier. It could take many months and maybe even a year to rank up enough to finally get M3 Ricochet. How are people with M2 supposed to compete when nearly everyone except Firebird which also unlocks at Commader has M3 guns? It is very expensive to MU the damage past 3 and I want to save my crystals because I want to get M3 Viking later on and M3 Rico is very expensive. I think M3 Rico should unlock a few ranks sooner.

Viking is a bit slow at m0 and m1 but in the long run it improves a lot. At m3 you can mu the speed up to 9 which is nearly as fast as an m0 hornet with much more armor and stability. Goes great with ricochet.

I was thinking the same thing, I usually don't even bother playing Polygon CP matches because one team parks a mammoth and twins on the point with a few isidas beside it which makes it impossible for the other team to get any points.

I find that the smart cooldown were only a slight improvement. You still have a lot of jerks who always use double power or armor every time they re spawn and even worse, ones who repair in the middle of duels or when getting flags. It is still hard to find battles not ruined by these people. Even in battles with lots of players, it only takes one constant drugger to ruin the fun for everyone.

I find the shaft laser doesn't really make any difference, when you see the laser pointing at your tank, you still don't have time to escape. I don't care for the night mode at all, you can't even see what kind of tank or paints that your opponents are using. Rio and Silence are some of my favorite maps but now it's hard to find battles in day mode, I hope people get tired of it soon.

The shotgun and machine gun turrets look interesting. We could use a few more details, I'd like to know the range, damage per shot and impact force of the weapons. I use Ricochet, but I may get the machine gun for a backup gun.

I used Dictator before and I find that Viking is a much better choice for Ricochet. Dictator may have more armor, but it is too slow to outrun freeze, firebird and isida, it is unstable when under fire from twins and rico and it's huge size and slow speed make it an easy target for rail, shaft and thunder. Go with Viking and Ricochet, my favorite combo.

Saw an incredibly rude player today in a flag match. My team had a pretty big lead and the other team all quit with about 5 minutes left. One player on my team then starts demanding that all members of our team quit so that he could have all the crystals for himself. I told him that we all had a right to our share of crystals but he just wouldn't shut up. Luckily me and two others stayed until the end to get our share. Really rude, classless player. Wish I remembered his name so I could report him.

I don't think that Rico should be nerfed, I find it is pretty mediocre even at M1, takes five shots just to kill a wasp and seven or more for a hornet, it doesn't get really powerful until M2 and M3. It also has plenty of weaknesses, shorter range than rail, shaft, thunder and smoky, can only damage one enemy per shot, very slow reload when you fire all of your shots, very hard to hit moving tanks from a distance.

I really like Future and Opposition, it's a shame hardly anyone uses them anymore. Massacre is okay but you have to move around a lot and there isn't much room to take cover.

Good ethics article. One classless thing that I hate the most is people who use a repair kit in the middle of a one on one duel, that is really unsportsmanlike. The powerup cooldown is really working great, but some people still use double power or armor every time they respawn, it may not be illegal, but I find it pretty tacky.

I like Ricochet too, slow reload and limited range are the only real downsides. Range, impact force and damage are all great. Does anyone else find it unfair that you have to wait until the second highest rank to get M3 firebird and Ricochet? Why should they be stuck with M2 for so much longer than people with other turrets? They will have a major disadvantage when they get to higher ranks and everyone else has M3 turrets. I think they should be unlocked sooner.

Only 7.5 rating for Ricochet and Viking?! No way, it's one of the best combos. I use them and I find it is a great combo, good for all battle modes, very versatile. You can attack and defend with it and it's still fast enough to capture flags.
