Don't think you can sink any lower than this Tanki; the greed of the company has reached a whole different level this time. Limiting players to 20 000 characters is actually an excellent idea. But it should STOP there. Once those 20 000 characters are expended the player will be effectively mute. Instead of doing the right thing once again you have seen this as an opportunity to make money. I am shocked by this. This is absolutely disgraceful. What happens if the players that insult and use profanities the most have deep pockets, did you consider this? Total wasters.

If tanki has any sense about them they will take seriously the words for which Zero wrote: The Matchmaker, MM, is a disaster (I call it Matchbreaker, MB), I myself have been complaining ever since it was introduced. Zero has told me many times how "the transparency of the game is gone now". With match breaking, we are forced to go into an unknown map (and unknown mode if quick battle is selected) and could end up playing against anyone, even friends or players from your OWN clan! It doesn't make matches, it breaks them. The 'balance' of the game was supposed to be restored with a recent update, yet it was done in such a way to promote the use of Vulcan and Isidas working together. I remember seeing a certain post with "Welcome to VulcanIsidaonline", they have no idea how right they were. No that is not what this means; there are other druggers with a better efficiency place than mine that are not on that list, so it can't possibly mean "there are 1731 non-druggers more skilled than you." Read it again. ;)

On the contrary, now that Zero has taken over the topic it just keeps getting better and better. There are so many interesting statistics here to look at. The efficiency place spoiler even gives a measure to how skilled druggers can be. Do enlighten me on how creating a list of stats based on biggest druggers is applauding druggers. The only people that complain about druggers are losers. Since you think this topic is garbage, you (like most non-druggers) are envious of those that are able to drug, or, you have a relaxed brain and thus unable to understand the meaning of this topic. Either way, you have my sympathy :D

Since Paypal is not working for a lot of countries, I should recommend that you fix Paypal and therefore extend the sale until Paypal is fully operational again. Otherwise, a lot of players are not going to be very happy (me included) with the knowledge that their one and only chance to complete their XT collection etc. is fading away. This Black Friday event was announced some time ago now and included a day-by-day countdown until the event arrived. During the run-up to that event, players have saved their money with the hopes of making the most of the event by using their money in exchange for the offers announced. It isn't their fault that they now cannot spend their money to take advantage of the offers. Keeping these offers active while Paypal is properly fixed seems like the only viable option.

The best way to improve it is to get rid of MB.

If that is truly the case then I am not spending any more money on buying the new ones.

Will XT items be released in the shop for XT that was available for purchase in the past (for 500 000 crystals)? Such as Thunder XT, Railgun XT, Hornet XT? I'm getting tired of just seeing 'new XT' being released and would like to know that I can eventually get a complete collection.

This is all great, another new XT. I would like to collect ALL the XT equipment and so far I don't have, railgun, thunder or hornet XT, since these were removed from the shops just before I could buy them in the past. My question is: Will these XT be available for purchase again or are Tanki just going to keep releasing 'new' XT? Many thanks.

Refer to non-pro battles as 'matchmaker battles' and all other battles as 'pro battles'. Then everyone (me included) will understand what you mean, as right now, I'm not even sure what the word 'pro' means anymore in this context. Welcome to the world of matchbreaker ;) It does amazing things, it allows a massive 3 players per group, it makes you play against your friends and even your own clan. But, the best is yet to come, it takes AGES to load sometimes and above anything else causes bugs like not being able to load the game, it also has the effect of causing some players to quit playing the game due to a constant high ping, even though the connection itself is fine. Gee, I wonder if the developers will fix get rid of the matchbreaker? I-Z.

Ever since the matchbreaker update all I see is insane ping readings like this: The game is now pretty much unplayable for me. This update was Tanki's way of getting rid of loyal players that have played the game ever since it started; this is precisely what is happening. Players that are new to the game won't know any different, and so they will never know that Tanki used to be a great game (much better than it is now). People are talking about fixing the matchbreaker? No, the only solution to this problem is to get rid of matchbreaker. I'm not naming such a useless contraption 'matchmaker', which, not only can put you in battles against your friends but also members of your own clan! It does not deserve such a name. All it does is break matches as players leave the battle as they don't want to play against their friends/clan members. I am sick of watching my high K/D ratio fall every battle because incompetent developers refuse to acknowledge that the matchbreaker update has a marked affect on my ping every time I attempt to play the game. I-Z.

Thank you Zero for taking the time to write a detailed post; it has been so helpful for me to see all the different things that could contribute to the problem of high ping. The problem however is that I have tried all you say. I pressed windows + r & entered %appdata% in the prompt. Then I located the Macromedia folder and erased it. I then went on to install: (Released 9/18/2012) Flash Player 11.4.402.278 (66.75 MB)as you suggested from here. But when I went to install the version above, it just says: I tried installing the top (selected) application on that list above and it seems to refuse to let me play with an older client. Did I mistakenly choose to install the wrong one of the 6 programs. As for switching things back on and off, well, that was the first thing I tried. I even used the yellow ethanet cable to connect to the router, but it did not eliminate the ping. I made sure that not too many applications were upon, too many internet tabs; and applications running in the background, used the Task Manager to 'end process' on un background processes that aren't that constructive. I really appreciate your time A-Z, however, I am almost certain there is absolutely nothing wrong with my set-up. The matchbreaker update is causing this (or something related to it). I just find it amazing how these problems (high ping) began as soon as the matchbreaker was released: Here is what I see each battle I (try to) play: Perhaps it is time for me to quit then, and sadly, I see a lot of players quitting due to this update, 2 from my own clan [Z0N3] in fact. Nice suggestion, I have just downloaded and tried it and I'm still getting insane ping readings. In fact that 'official tanki client' that you mention is the same one I have been using all along and have been using for years. It is the same one as the image shown in this thread. But sadly, it just doesn't work (for me) - reasons unknown. I just don't know what to do anymore, how can something that has worked fine for years suddenly stop working?
