As if blue was not weak enough...

Hey there, So, first off, I’ve no official ties with the management, and hence, no definite idea as to what their intention was behind the release of this update. I’m only in position of rationally addressing your concern. So here it goes: The key points of your argument followed by my response: Clearly, there had been some misunderstanding during the development which led to all the legitimate issues we have now. Considering the majority of audience Tanki has, the development process should be handled more delicately, taking into account all the necessary feedback for an update to prevent sudden confliction following its official release. I can only request that before your respond think about whether it will contribute to the productive discussion we have established now. And use spoilers if you intend to continue this conversation

I understand your concern and clearly addressed it in my response earlier. But making such statements, taking the advantage of the fact that the management has yet to respond, only escalates the situation with more and more rumors spreading around. The least you can do is wait for an official statement and be patient.

Aha, relief to see all those enraged souls settle down after all. Now let’s break down the so called “noob update” made infamous following its release. (Didn’t intend to be long but had to address all the unnecessary hate) 1. Illogical paint prices; almost appears as if the system glitched out or the economics team rushed through planning. 2. Protection statistics and having to hold the 'R' key; Clan issues. 3. Kits without protection modules. Finally, this notion of Tanki X dominating the game franchise in the near future, eventually shutting Tanki Online down, needs to go away! You all realize that there exists no business without the community it aims to serve. We all form this online community with our collective effort in welcoming, criticizing, and making TOs future. Developers have given no clue of ever shutting down the game but if this attitude of welcoming a new update by complaining all over the game chat and whining about leaving the game remains, I sure see a narrowing future for TO to a point where is collapses. Think as to why would devs want to lose this great community, by releasing apparently “noob updates”, in a hope that all of us will migrate to Tanki X(which by the way still has many stages of development and bugs to deal with) despite the betrayal we would have received from Tanki Online. All I can request is that next time an update is released, thoughtfully analyze all its aspects and in what way will it benefit not only us but the new community and, of course, the game management. An update is not irreversible, but developers require strict valid points as to why their effort is not beneficial to the business(that includes you). And of course this process can only take place with the community’s full cooperation. Whining about leaving the game for reasons that the update has slowed down the game and created more lags with no accurate data to back it up is nothing but hypocrisy. How great of an argument does that provide to developers to revert back the changes? The first step following a release is always monitoring the feedback which should always be coming from you in a cooperative manner. Apologies if I offended any one but felt the need to post this after yesterday’s unnecessary backlash from many players. Think of it as an advance in the game play which everyone has gotten used to over the years. I would personally condone this ‘element of surprise’ feature, especially when it set a more realistic combat environment (not knowing what the enemy has and yet tackling with the situation)

For those who are curious to confirm the link themselves: 1. Adjust the Horizontal Camera Speed to 0.1. 2. Drive through the tunnel till the very end. The link is easily visible as the camera moves (adjust the vertical camera view with 'Q' and 'E' keys, if needed). 3. Of course, make sure to record so you can read it later.

Based on my knowledge, to elaborate your explanation, this button remains at 'M3' while the results output window shows a completely different modification number when you hit 'calculate'. Like so: If I am right, the issue you are experiencing is caused from the server side(which means I cannot permanently fix it.) where some functions work in background but the effect does not get rendered. You can however try a Temporary Fix: Simply refresh the webpage. Likewise, this fix will initiate some color animations and provide a better user-interface.

Looks like you did not thoroughly read the topic. Nevertheless, i accept your complaint. I am currently working on a tutorial(specifically for salient features of the program) and hope to finish it soon. Meanwhile, I suggest you to play around with controls which are relatively easier to understand. Thank you for your patience.

Improvement refers to the total parameter increase in a specified range. For instance, increase in the damage of a particular turret 'up to' the final step given. Show Database button will provide detailed information on properties of each step. And as for your latter concern, the new update will be shortly released which will feature the support for all the remaining modifications [M0, M1, M2] and Paints.

Well if problem is about 'simultaneous' rank-ups, we can switch the process. The traditional way involves killing a particular tank and thereby ranking oneself up. In this special case, however, think about 40 mines planted by each individual in a straight line[not necessarily a line]. Now each tank moves closer to the mine next to them[The tanker occupying the last spot would, of course, shift to first position]. All step on the mines (co-ordination is important). This way, everyone ranks 'simultaneously' when they re-spawn. Spectator mode will enable to capture the full footage. Note: May not be very appealing but its the only possible way.

On the contrary, some inconsiderate moderators are eager to remove the link when posted in the general chat, in spite of providing an explicit reference to the forum topic.

Which parameter are you exactly referring to. Perhaps post an image. And tell me if any message pops up.

Your welcome, but just on a side note, I hope by "things" you refer to micro-upgrades only. And Mued does much more than just calculating discounts. That's something for you to discover :).

Hello Tankers, How hard is it to plan your budget during a micro-upgrade sale? Although the wiki section provides detailed information on modification expenses of all the garage equipment, it is inconvenient to add the values each time you wish to plan your purchase. Would it not be a lot easier to simply enter the range and obtain the sum of values lying within? That is, Step cost, Speed-up cost, and Improvement. Time to share my work on Mued - a calculator which significantly makes the micro-upgrading process easier. Navigation Map More images: Overview Consider the following situation: Rail Damage micro-upgraded up to 11th step. You wish to micro-upgrade Railgun's Damage to the final step. Head over to Mued and simply enter the following in the designated inputs. Railgun [Product] Damage [Attribute] 12 [start Range] 23 [End range] 50% [Micro-upgrades Discount] 80% [speed-ups Discount] Like so: Hit the 'Calculate' button. The output window will appear on the top-left corner which displays Total Step-cost, Total Speed-up Cost, and Improvement, with discounts. Additional Notes: - Mued will best satisfy Google Chrome users. Additional support for other browsers is in progress. - Try refreshing the page if color animations do not work the first time you open the webpage. - Login can only be accessed by official members - . - You help is greatly appreciated. In case you find any extraneous values in the database, please report them in this topic. [14/3/2015] Good news Tankers, Mued version 0.2 has been released. The new version features: Enhanced performance. Improved user-interface [no overlays]. Scroll support for results output window. Interactive platform to perform addition of multiple results [1. ctrl+click on multiple results to select them. | 2.Then click on any selected result to combine all.]. An ability to switch database table on/off. Theme changes and other minor improvements. [24/4/2015] Tankers! The long awaited update is finally here. Mued now supports all major modifications' [M0 M1 M2 M3] and Paints' micro-upgrading expenses calculation. Do revisit the webpage to check out the new features. [29/4/2015] I value your opinion. After visiting the webpage, please take a few minutes to participate in the poll. That's it people, try to promote this webpage to other communities as well. Consider the player named 'CommanderRedBoss' having the 'General' rank. All that he tried to do is get on that building, as shown in the picture, with the help of another player, in a normal CTF battle. Such behavior gave the opponent team an advantage of dominating our team. He mentions his desire of getting 'Goldbox' once he gets up there. Parkour in normal battles should be considered illegal. Unless, of course, you help team defeat the enemies. delete I want you to analyze the battle chat and the score table to take the right action against the violator.
