Now that I think about it, it seems cool. I see some smokies dominating battles at Poly even if critical damage reduce. Maybe the base damage somehow made up for it?

Sorry but silly question: Why 3?

My Medic kit is M4 already... :) I'm looking for another weapon. A 50% sale is rare, and far in between. Next one would be September, I think. To be honest, there's not many good choices out there. In my rank range, I could buy/save: 1. None of the viking kits - I could get Hammer at 50% off. Freeze not necessary. 2. Legend Kit - Not a fan of XP/BP yet, so this off the charts. 3. Titan kits - Cardinal or Guardian 4. Vulcan - Nah, this is definitely out for me. 5. Hunter - Unsure about this current combo. Mostly seen Twins on medium-heavy hulls, from Vikings to Mammy. 6. Thunder M3/Mammy M2 kit - Not a fan of Thunder. It's out as well. Fire and Rico is another choice but commander is a long way to go.

The most I can reach is only Marshal, so my options are rather limited. I'm looking for something which is short - medium range. It's either: Twins|Smoky for me. I'm running Medic kit at the moment because I like to heal. Hammer not sure. Current plan is to buy Inferno and - - - I don't know, honestly. I have the same kit too since I brought it long time ago and used it until Medic kit. I have also played with Twins M3 but fare worse against long range than short range weapons in test server. Using it with Mammy M3 is tough to get to the pit. Picasso might be that answer, but I really don't know.

How is Viking M4 in higher ranks? Will it lose out to Hunter m4 if paired with short range guns like Firebird or Isida? (let's say it's polygon CP- since almost everyone loves playing in it)

Even on a mammy m3, overheating is still a killer....it is perfect as it is! (maybe it's because I'm using it in its raw form)

I don't think Vulcan is OP. It can be dealt with by Thunders, Rail and good teamwork. *shrugs*
