I'd like to preface my argument condoning 'druggers' by first responding to yours. I agree druggers affect gameplay negatively, that is beyond question. Their use of drugs makes each game less enjoyable and competitive. However, the arguments you posted from the opposing position are a total straw man fallacy, making the druggers out to be some immature, senseless kids. I don't appreciate that tactic and it is not how arguments should be conducted. Additionally, this is hardly a 'study' considering you didn't apply the scientific method AT ALL, but i digress. I'd like to make three points in my argument condoning druggers. Firstly, in team battles, druggers are actually good teammates. They are competent players, who actively work to support the team. If one were to argue "But they dominate the team, taking a larger share of the battle fund!", I would respond by saying that the drugger is nonetheless assisting the team in achieving victory. That is the only imperative they must satisfy. Further, consider alternative players. Its been my experience that the vast majority of players of or around my rank are completely incompetent players who have no concept of teamwork. I'll gladly take a strategic, competent drugger over a common mindless player. Secondly, druggers aren't the only pests in this situation. It is the truly endless remarks we get from other players such as "Noob drugger!!", or "stop drugging noobs!". These players must understand that 1.) the druggers will unlikely cease drugging because of their comments and 2.) that repeating the statement will not be any more effective than previous statements. Either leave the game or be more mature. Lastly, drugging supports Tanki. We all understand that Tanki is a business with developers, servers, and consultants among many other costs. With this, it must also be recognized that the game of Tanki is entirely contingent on the business of Tanki. Tanki will only continue to exist if the game continues to generate revenue. Drugging entails payment. I hope this point doesn't require more explanation. In summary, druggers are annoying, but they should be condoned. Their gameplay has pros and cons as do all other players. I'll gladly listen to cogent arguments in opposition to my own.
