I knew there woudl be a few of you, but the fact is, you CAN play without buying, BUT it sucks to do so. And please, dont' lie and say it doesn't.

I'm sorry but this is absolutely false. I've been boiling forever about this game and it's thirst for money. So here's the whole story. About 6 months ago... I was a new Gissimo Tanker, I had every piece of equipment that I wanted, I was spending my money, no not mom's. Then I got bored, and left. I happen to have an extremely powerful PC so I bought the number one FPS PC game....Battlefield 4. If you've never heard of it, google it. It's made by EA, powerd by Frostbites, and is made possible by the developers, DICE. The game is on it's 4th generation, taking it 2-3 years to come out with a new one. It employs nearly 200,000 people to build and make the game, the credits go on forever and ever with names of the developers and helpers and artists and mechanics and everything it takes to build a 100 GB full graphics war simulator. The game, is incredible. As seen here: It's graphics are beautiful, it's balance is incredible, it's detail is unmatched. I could go on and on. It's a beautiful game. NOW, before anyone is running to post an obvious thing like "Some don't like that kind of FPS game." Well, yes. Battlefield 4 is for the most part 16+, requires a good PC, gameplay skills, and dedication. Battlefield 4 has better eSports, better graphics, better everything really. And, how much does it cost? $19.99. BUT, if you have the NEED to spend money and get ahead, equivelant to the buyers of Tanki, you can buy "Shortcuts", and to buy the biggest package they sell, which includes every gun, knife, and explosive in the game. $24.99. BUT, if you need more than 24 maps, you can buy PREMIUM for a whopping $24.99. So all total, if you bought everything in the game: $69.97. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Now for Tanki. Tanki has a broken game play system, they're constantly trying to make good "Balance" and miserably fail every so often. Hammer to this day is unbelievable but that's a long story. It has lots of UNPOPULATED servers, few players, few matches you care to play, too many buyers, not enough non buyers. It has poor graphics, even Tanki X doesn't have great graphics from what I can see. It has a weird chat setup trying to be run by independent mods that have to maintain Tanki Servers and a life...impossible. It's eSports system is a COMPLETE mess, it's done by StarLadder and no one knows what in the hell is going on over there, it has a clan forum system which sucks, no stats and all in all, it's a poor game. So, you're probably thinking, "It must be free/REALLY cheap to play"...couldn't be more incorrect. To play the game without buying is ridiculous, you'll always be the second tier player, few non-buyers have fun outside of Light Format/XP/BP Format battles simply because they don't have the drugs or the garage to keep up with the handful of buyers in the battle. My current Garage at my rank is: M3 Fire, M3 Freeze, M3 Isida, M2 Hammer, M3 Twins, M3 Rico, M2 Vulcan, M3 Smoky, M4 Thunder, M3 Railgun, M2 Shaft, M2 Wasp, M3 Hornet, M3 Hunter, M3 Viking, M2 Dictator, M2 Titan, M3 Mammoth. All SL Paints, Zeus, and a few others....so yeah not a bad garage...BUT how much did this cost??? Around $1,000.00! I could buy a cheap car, an awesome computer/laptop, beer, food, gas, you name it... So, let's not forget all of the cons I listed above about Tanki, and lets factor the price tags: Battlefield 4: Most you can SPEND is: $69.97 Tanki: Unlimited amount of spending, my garage could be better, things could change, and I still wish for more things sometimes...I've spent $1,000.00 as I already mentioned. Don't forget, Battlefield has 200,000 developers and game designers and alll the million of roles that are needed to create a giant game. Tanki probably employs...50? Tanki costs wayyy more, granted there are less buyers, but still the pricetag differences are VAST. Don't forget also, Tanki has decreased what you get for your money on the low end of buying, making is pointless to spend less than $39.99... Pretty much everyone plays Pro Battles and then after accumulating some supplies they go and play a few non-pro battles. Even though I've bought millions of crystals, I've never bought drugs and have over 2.3k of each, just to show you how little I drug. Most Generalissimos are like me. And it is true, at these ranks, you have to drug or lose in regular battles. Some guys just drug up until their last drug is used, I've seen it in videos where a Gissimo drugs even though he has 100 of each and runs out of one right in that very battle, it's really sad, and to be honest I've always hating drugging. My least favorite thing in TO is spawn-drugging Isidas. Really the biggest pain in the rear ever. I just advise against you insulting buyers, that's all I was saying. If you want to talk about drugging, I feel you too. ~Maestro

Nearly everything you said is false. The hated "Buyers" are hated for 2 things: They can change the course of the battle with their amazing tanks. They have the money to spend. I don't know any person who buys crystals and is a total noob. That's right, no one. But, there is countless nugs running around at Field-Marshal that are cussing out "Buyers" for having such an awesome tank that can barely rotate their turret. Buyers also are the reason Tanki's servers are still up. Ever thought about how much it costs to keep up 30+ Servers? A lot of money mate. And buyers like me help to keep Tanki's doors open and servers up. "All those, on the contrary, that invested only effort and skill, will lose less in old Tanki and advance faster in new Tanki." Who says you invested any more effort than I? Who says you have more skills (I guarentee you do NOT)? Who says you'll advance "Faster" than Buyers? Please grow a brain. Those statements don't agree with each other, and you really are heading down a one way path. I have invested 12 months, (First of all you can't invest "skill". That is only your attempt at getting another reason to you bashing of buyers)...I've invested my time and my patience with this game, and because I can, I've invested a fair amount of money. I wouldn't have spent a cent of money if I had no skills or the game was not fun or useless, I spent because I was a really good players and I realized that getting Star Ladder equipment and going to Star Ladder was my destiny. I didn't want to be the some what skilled, but M2 guy running around at Field Marshal, or worse at Generalissimo. If you still feel like buyers are always noobs that will advance slower (Even though they have more skill than non-buyers at playing), go play with a few "buyers". Play names like me, Lankbouv, Mr.Dirty, GriZzlyMagnum, LordVoIdimort (doesn't buy a lot but is payed), Mr.Dreyar, PAKISTANII etc. Are you getting the picture? FOUR of those are All Kind members....Also known as, highly skilled beasts. I'm pretty sure almost all of AK, DK, TG, and all other Top EN Teams are buyers, because face it, how do you play in SL without M3 Hunter (214,700), Savannah (129900), M3 Viking (195600), Needle (210,000), Digital (79000), Tundra (35500), and Tiger (175000), and for some M3 Smoky (268600). Flash will remain, but I'm sure that the Flash will get loss of support etc and nothing new/updates/moderators will be there in the Flash version. I believe if you switch from Flash (you can only do it once) you can never go back. Personally, I've spent 1 year and $600 + or - a few $'s and if Tanki does this to their players who have kept their servers running, they can stuff it because I will pull spending and playing Tanki and will do so to all of my friends that play it and spend lots and lots of money. This is ridiculous if this happens. Conclusion: 1) You can remain in the Flash Version, but it likely will lose Support/Players/Moderators/General fun 2) You can move to Unity and lose everything, I think you can take somethings with you (or atleast it was discussed) but you can NEVER go back to Flash once you've moved to Unity from Flash. If you start from scratch you will lose EVERYTHING. And that is enough to make anyone that has spent lots of time and money want to leave (for some, it may want to make them punch someone in the face). Tanki has been ripping off it's community everywhich way possible. If you buy, you get ripped off for the amount of crystals per $, if you don't buy, the game really flat out sucks for you. Everything is either Underpowered or Overpowered and Tanki releases stupid updates like this camera update right smack dab in the middle of the SL Season and wants us to deal with it for another week. Tanki fixes things that weren't a problem or weren't broken, yet ignores the stuff that needs to be fixed. If this game wasn't relatively fun, there would be NO reason to play it. Tanki seems like they couldn't give a you-know-what less about their community of EN or RU and expects us to pay through the nose to have fun at this game. No, I'm sorry, that's just wrong. Change the road you're going down Tanki, it's starting to get rough. You think that experienced players don't notice the major decline in members online? Fix this part of Tanki before instead of shooting squirrels and fixing "camera" speed when you have a lot of other things to worry about. Namely your greedy faces. Take the time to listen and do exactly what your community wants. I'm not asking you to be irrational and change a bunch of things, and let's all be mature and not act like fools here and be sarcastic to this. There are many aspects of Tanki that need to be fixed. Namely the fact that earning crystals is impossible. Golds hardly fall for low ranks. 1,000 crystals isn't enough to do anything at ranks above Warrant Officer 1 and need to be increased for higher ranks proportionally. Did I mention that earning crystals is useless for getting M3s? These are the issues you need to be addressing. Frankly, I've been wanting to write this all down, the list is longer it could go on and on, and I've had long discussions with other old and experienced tankers and my brother about this for hours and hours. You rip off your community, then want to appear all happy-go-lucky on Friday when the V-Log comes out. I have more to write, my fingers are just starting to bleed from typing so hard and fast... ~Maestro

Sure it is, it's moving much faster so lower graphic cards will lag on the turn. THIS IS A TERRIBLE UPDATE. REMOVE IT PLEASE. ESPECIALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF STARLADDER.

I love Zeus, always wanted it for XP, and I believe 50% Firebird is worth talking about as it's quite potent. I'm caught between a rock and a hard place of buying Zeus, Clay or Lumberjack. I have Inferno so I know many will rule out Zeus for me already, but I love Zeus but, but but etc. That leaves Clay and Lumberjack. For me, I feel like Ricochet is not a big opponent in the maps I play at (Polygon, and small maps, sometimes Rio, Silence, and Serpuhov), so that leaves the 20% Thunder and 30% Railgun...and my Prodigi protects waaay more than that on both, so in a way, I feel like my Prodigi is better than Clay. So Lumberjack. Undisputable the King of close range, massive protections on all fronts. Lumberjack will be a gameover paint at Island and Hill for sure, and sometimes Polygon. But the protections of Fire and Freeze are similar/less than Inferno or Zeus, and to be honest, Isida isn't my biggest peeve. Not to mention, I'm not crazy about the looks of Lumberjack, even though I like the look of that Red-Black checked shirt that it supposed to resemble, it looks poor on your tank because IMO the colors are dull and flat. See? So I can basically eliminate any of them if I wanted to, and make either the shining star. I really like Zeus's looks and it can be used in XP which is intimidating to some. Clay is an awesome paint, when there's a Rico, he's toasted. Lumberjack is the king of close range, but looks poor IMO. I'm not interested in putting 100's of thousands of crystals into MUs of a paint, many will receive 4-5 per parameter and that's it. So hard to choose....I might just buy them all. ~Maestro
