Thunder has been my favorite turret since I discovered it years ago an my abandoned account, Breakshot, I have learned everything about it and have always used it from the second I bought it at gefreiter. After 2 years of using Thunder I see that Thunder is the must useless turret in Tanki. In terms of damage Smoky and Railgun both beat it. In terms of on-the-field-use Railgun and Smoky beat it again with Railgun also being able to hit multiple enemies as well as both turrets having higher impact force. Well you might say "But Thunder has splash damage and can shoot around corners etc.", Well Thunder can use Splash Damage to hit enemies hiding behind walls, but this is pointless because the amount of damage you do along with it being almost impossible to hit the ground just right makes Splash Damage absolutely useless. (Albeit Splash Damage can still be used if there's a wall behind the tank, but this is very rare). Not to mention Ricochet can do that to except it has an auto-aim making it much better at shooting around obstacles. Thunder is simply not unique, so Thunder needs something to make it stand out. I think that Thunder should be given some sort of auto-aim similar to Ricochet. e.g. If an enemy is hiding behind a building than you can just shoot (in the direction of the corner) and the auto-aim will shoot towards the ground so that your Splash Damage is now effective. This in my eyes would make all the unnecessary nerfs Thunder's been through completely worth it. Simply put Thunder needs some work and while everybody is stressing about the Damage and Reload Time, Splash damage has been ignored and Thunder has become the most useless turret in Tanki Online

These changes really even everything out but I feel like Thunder & Dictator drew the short stick on this update. :( Thunder although the Splash Damage has become stronger the damage decrease definitely out ways the overall effectiveness of Thunder's Splash Damage. Another parameter should be should be changed, in my eyes Splash Damage's range should be increased. This wouldn't effect the overall damage of the turret however the effectiveness of this new modification be greatly increased and overall put this turret back on the board with others. Dictator however didn't get as big of a speed boost as you would think compared to all the other hulls. Hunter got a .11 increase, Viking got a .15 increase, Titan got a .2 increase :blink: , Mammoth got a .14 increase and Dictator got a measly .08 increase in speed :o Each hull got an increase of speed above .1 with the highest being Titan getting a .2 increase in speed, but Dictator got an increase that was .03 from the second lowest in other words that means the RANGE of the increases is actually more the Hunter's increase in speed that is NOT A GOOD THING. As well the MEAN is .136 meaning that both Dictator and Titan are both very close to being outliers with the upper and lower fences being .05 and .21 that's cutting it a bit to close don't you think :excl:

CTF Combination #1 The first combination I would choose is Thunder + Dictator. This is purely to use splash damage to weaken enemies hiding behind the wall next to their flag, and invaders along the rim surrounding the map. I chose Dictator for the peek-a-boo tactic using the wall on front of the flag, and to take as many hits as possible from enemies looking to capture. Combination #2 My next choice is Thunder + Viking. This decision was almost impossible to make because I couldn't decide between this or Ricochet + Hunter. However I finally made the choice and went with Thunder + Viking because I wanted a combination that can stay on the rim of the map while still being able to defend and drop onto the floor of the map and pick off attackers, and primarily to help combination #1. Combination #3 My third combo is Hammer + Viking. This combo would stay on the floor of the map and play midfield to obliterate any tank that crosses its path, but specifically with the help of.... Combination #4 My fourth combo is Twins + Hunter. This combo will have the same job as Combination #3 as well as supporting it to make an unstoppable midfield role. These partners would hide in the tunnels and surprise enemies and hopefully use their impact force to flip lighter hulls. Combination #5 My last two combinations will just like the others work as partners. my 5th combo is Smoky + Wasp. This along with combination #6 are the offense, I chose this because Wasp provides enough speed to get in and out in seconds. and i chose Smoky to pair with Wasp entirely for the critical shots to and to finish whatever little health the enemy already has. Combination #6 My last Combination is: Railgun + Wasp. This combo is only to support combination #5. In my eyes there isn't a better dou than Smoky and Railgun, because one deals constant damage (aside form the Critical shots) while the other occasionally deals massive damage to put serious holes in the enemy, Wasp is to keep up with combination #5 and finish the job should it be destroyed

It all depends on my mood however Thunder + Dictator is my go to and favorite I have used it since my first day of Tanki, and while I have profound skills with all these combos I have mastered Thunder + Dictator. Thunder + Dictator :wub: Hammer + Viking :lol: Twins + Hunter :angry: Smoky + Wasp :ph34r: Railgun + Hunter :P

I like the the way they are going especially because they are cheap and easy to buy for a regular tanker. there are 2 problems though. 1) They need to be a little closer to their rank. Some kits are just absurd. 2) This gives an advantage to someone who for example buys the Fujiyama kit (cheap and very much worth it) if they have EXPERIENCE with this kit or WANT to buy Hunter m1 and Vulcan m1 or Sakura since the kit costs only 4000 crystals more than the paint itself. This is good for those people but what if you wanted Viking m1 and Hammer m1 but you want it at a discount well then you would need to wait for a sale which the nearest one I can think of (except may holidays since its only 25% off) would be the Tanki birthday, which is a while away. Therefore the kits aren't exactly balancing the game in fact they are giving advantages to people who use certain combinations and disadvantages to those who don't use those. The kits do make you want to try other combinations though for example I have been pondering whether or not to buy Fujiyama for a while and stray from my usual Twins, Hammer, or Thunder combinations.

I love then new kits but i think the viking + freeze should be replaced with a smaller and more practical tank such as hunter + twins + jade. Also please make parkour kits they would make things much easier for many parkourist, they don't even need expensive paints just good looking paints such as: in love, alien, swash, jaguar, roger, loam, winter, savanna, irbis, inferno, and jade. For example you can make two kits one to be a ramp which could include: m3 viking + m3 railgun with some of the paints I mentioned earlier, and a jumper which could include (at m3): m3 wasp + m3 thunder with any of the paints with thunder protection (yes i know that railgun is usually better for parkour especially with a team but thunder can also be used solo and with a team, but still get to many places a railgun can but by yourself). These kits could even be cheaper since you dont need 2-3 expensive paints, you only need paints that look good as this is typically what parkourist use especially with a team since not everyody can buy inferno, or jade, or irbis, or zeus. An m3 kit can still consist of in love, swash, and roger, while an m1 kit could use the same paints, though i do recommend at least having one or two protective paints, given that same of these combos are used outside of parkour ex: wasp + thunder + inferno or viking + railgun + jade. so maybe for m3 wasp + thunder it could use inferno + jade + in love, swash or roger. In conclusion make parkour kits, and fix viking + freeze

i love it however i think the supplies that currently can't be used should be red it is very hard to tell what is available and what is not
