I believe that it really matters what map you are playing on for bigger maps like Berlin or Kunger it is better for CP because their is a better chance of you getting xp by capturing points if their are more points. like sandbox or boombox with only one control point, is bad, for you have a less likely chance of controlling it. For DM it is better for you to have smaller maps so you won't have to move too much to find enemies. For CTF medium maps are okay, for example serpuhov is good for sniping the flag holders or the other team's defense 2042 could be for any one bigger maps for DM need more people. Lastly TDM needs to be a good sniping map. Like Fort Knox you cannot snipe there but serpuhov can have great sniping spots but you have to be a good player to find those spots. So for me I like deathmatch in smaller maps. I would also suggest playing in games where your rank is the highest rank possible. There, you can destroy lower rank people fast and earn xp fast too as for gold boxes, arena and cross is best. Speaking of cross, it is best for one on one CTF with your friends just to rank up, no killing. Arena DM is best. Rank up and be a good player. have skill and strategy and most of all LETS DO THISI always get crystals and xp for killing most. Good luck playing.
