Ok. I could say stuff about the drones but I'll save it for another time. Also I hope that they'll be improved as the devs see their impact on gameplay. This comment will probably go unread and not acted upon, but here goes: I like the idea of separating the modules. In fact, it should have been done 2 summers ago. But I think tanki got the compensation part all wrong. They converted most of my modules into single modules, BUT they deleted the duplicate protections. This is where the problem arises. I did not receive any compensation whatsoever for the duplicate protections I had, as well as my legacy modules, which many crystals were spent on in the past. Gone. They said they were going to compensate in batteries. Guess how many batteries they gave me? That's right, ZERO. They did not compensate in crystals either (I know they'd never do that anyway, except for the 2012 rebalance), and they did not convert the duplicate modules to extra upgrades on the new modules, or containers, or anything else. I know that this is not a mistake, this is tanki's choice. I am not the only person affected by this situation, and many other people are worse off than I am. So, developers, you need to listen to the player base, and give us the compensation you that we deserve for YOUR changes.

Hey can I ask for some advice? -65k crystals I have Hunter M2 for my only medium hull, and I'm already set on small and heavy hulls. So my question is: Should I buy Viking or Dictator? If I get Viking, I would buy smoky at the next rank, and probably get dictator sometime later If I buy dictator, I would save up and wait for the smoky-viking or hammer-viking kit to come around when I have enough Thanks

Well that means that all the maps NOT used in missions will become obsolete, if they're not already. The missions are always on the same few maps: Polygon, Rio, and Sandbox for the most part, and only occasionally on anything else. What we need is varied missions, which would be about the only helpful thing the battle button could do right now, and tanki isn't taking advantage of it.

Tanki, there are many things with this update that need to be fixed, and a lot of them were foreseeable. First of all, you say "the vast majority of players prefer the battle button" but there is simply no way to know this yet. People are still trying out the button, because they DON'T KNOW if they prefer it yet. We all can see right through this: The only reason you "concluded" that many players prefer the button is because you were going to release the second part of the update (this part) all along. Second of all, making the ability to create battles a PRO pass feature is a bad decision on many levels. Now, there are a lot less normal battles, making it almost impossible for the battle button to find a good battle. PRO battles are going to be the norm now, which undermines the point of the PRO pass. It also undermines the battle button, since that can't select PRO battles for you. So basically, you're making us buy the pass if we want to play at all. You knew beforehand that this update would not be liked. Nice move, tanki. Really makes us want to keep playing.

Northerner might have been better, but I like firebird

Kits are on great sales this weekend, and I have no idea what to buy! I could get the Northerner Kit (smoky-viking m2) Or the Jam Kit (Twins-Viking M2) If I buy a kit, I won't have enough crystals left over for firebird M2, which I was hoping to buy. I could buy just firebird M2, or fire and one hull (either dictator or hunter M2) Or I could do something completely different. Anyone have any recommendations?
