I think you are correct, but I rely on picking the crystals as I go to the hotspots in a battle to earn my 'salary'. I know a lot of tankers who do this. Maybe TO could warn the people who aren't fighting? Or they could have a ten-second self-destruct warning come up when you wait on the drop point.

Dear Semyon, I have been playing Tanki Online for about 6 months, so I am still inexpeirienced. I disagree with the removal of crystal boxes from the game, but the new xp system is ingenius. I like it. For the most part, you are making TO a better game than b4. But please put the crystals back. I think i am speaking for all the wasp-users out there, no matter where we are, or our speed, we are always killed non-stop when the gold box drops.

Bro, I am down with this

So one day on Wolfenstein, I was using my M0 railgun and my m1 wasp. I thought it would be awesome if I could drive up a ramp, fly through the air, and land on a tower. But, as I'm flying through the air, some tank with a shaft shoot me in midair. Luckily I had double armor, and the recoil from my gun and his/hers shot me on top of one of the castle towers.
