Guys, you know I was winging about not having M2 wasp... well, TO just presented my garage with the stinger kit discounted at 50% (Hornet, Isida M2, + fracture paint), and I thought I couldn't let a 50% discount go if I could afford it. So now I have M2 Hornet... sigh.

Anyone got any observations Re: the balance changes? I'm undecided on a lot of stuff, but I should get used to it at least.

I suppose they're trying to make up for it with some double battle funds and increased GBs. Doesn't quite cut the mustard for me, 50% would have been great, but at least it's a good holiday in other ways. At least I can set a date on my M2 wasp now... mwahahaaaa... :P

Hmm, well freeze is an epic weapon, really useful for CTF. I would ask yourself whether you have enough short range weapons yet, and a reasonable hull to use it on (Anything larger than viking is too slow, but any other tank works brilliantly). If you want it on these grounds, wait until the sale. Also, more generally, it's exam season for me so I also won't be online too much! Still keeping tabs on the forum though :)

A dark day for the M1 wasp... it's days are numbered, good riddance. Seriously though, a fly could flip my tank if it wanted to.

I can play as M1 or M2, I still have quite a bit of M1 kit. Namely, wasp, hunter, titan, isida, firebird, shaft.

Thunder-mammoth with sandstone, as an M2 tank. All the way...

It depends on what you already have in your garage. All those M2s are amazing at different things, so you're after versatility.

Bear in mind abdi that it could also depend on what other weapons you have in your garage. Both are epic weapons, but for completely different sorts of engagement. It's in your interest that you have the most versatile garage possible, so if you already have lots of long range brawling weapons, then firebird is the one to buy. Conversely, thunder would be better if you have lots of close range weapons. Especially if you have freeze, since those mechanics are very similar.
