I put my arms up, admitting defeat. I slowly drew out my concealed gun and started firing. "Run!" I said as bullets whizzed past my ears. My friend ran as I fired and slowly backed away. When we were in the clear, I discovered I had been hit! Blood was dripping and my friend attempted to stop the bleeding by applying pressure on the wound. It was the last thing I saw before I slowly blacked out... I came to with the sound of bullets being fired. We were still trapped! I got up, ignoring the pain and fired at the Germans. I took out those blocking us and made it through the labyrinth. We got out finally and stole a tank, driving cautiously to not get shot by our allies anti tank missiles. We got out of the tank after driving back to base. After confirming that we weren't spies, our allies let us in. I got sent to the medic for treatment of my wounds. I knew more allies were trapped, waiting to be saved. And the Germans would not give up, and would return tomorrow.
