Due to a lack of very good articles this month, the Best of AWC: Round 5 will not be coming out.

Rather morbid. You can always find a way to continue.

We can't. Is Isida nerfed? yes, but it is still very useable. And if it is too nerfed, TO will buff it.

Hard, question, I have quite a few friends, can't pick 1. Are you older than 18?

This leads to one slight problem with Branagh’s performance, it is less questioning than it feels in the play. However, this questioning is seen in the beginning and the determination conveys his ideas that death in vengeance.

[Issue 58] The Best of Amateur Writing: Round Five
Quarks replied to Quarks in [Issue 58] The Best of Amateur Writing: Round Five Newspaper Archive
Once again, the AWS has been quite active. With a plethora of different types of articles varying from guides, interviews and about 15 different stories, it seems that it's once again time to look at the best in the section, the usual news and whatnot. Top 5 Articles of the Month Once again, we had a lot of quality articles put in this month. And again, these articles are not in any order, since Pdox and I couldn't decide on what order they should be in. 1.) The Rebalance: Biggest Winners and Losers by: @Jwimmer bigtimerush_bry: A well-written review to the recent balance (at the time of writing) taking a new idea that added another layer to the articles written by Goldnug and myself. The return of Jwimmer marks why he is a distinguished member. DestroyerPdox: I have one word for this article: Outstanding. This was probably the best article published in the AWC this month, but ran a close finish with 'The Silver Clock'. 2.) The Silver Clock by @Blackdrakon30 Bry: The only September article on out list deserves its due recognition. A very thought provoking and interesting article, Drakon continues to prove his writing skills to anyone and everyone who reads his works. If you, for some reason, haven't read this yet, I guarantee you will not be disappointed in the article. Pdox: Once again, Drakon shows just how beautifully he can write and then churn it into various depths to meet his perspectives. Feeling bored? Read 'The Silver Clock' right now! 3) The Golden Toy by @F.I.N.I.S.H.E.R Bry: An article that successfully had me question my life choices and how I was using what I had. As another philosophical article joins the podium, we question who we are and what we are doing about it. There really isn't a way to describe, you have to experience it yourself. Pdox: After reading his first article, 'A Letter That Traveled Through Time', I had my cursor on the 'Approve' button all along when I was reading this article. The halfway mark was enough for me to approve this. Amazing - keep it up! 4) WIP Full Story by Bry: The return of Abbadoom brings us another one of his signature stories. An interesting plot and believable characters all create this beautiful amalgamation of story...ness. Pdox: The return was imminent. But a return with this kinda' story? An exceptional job! 5) Meltdown: Intricate Darkness by @Penguin40 Bry: Penny once again graces us with another part of his incredible yet fairly underappreciated Meltdown series. The series is masterfully continued and, in typical Penguin style, leaves us on a cliffhanger. Pdox: I have always enjoyed reading Penny's article. This one was no less than a masterly-crafted woodwork. I am eagerly waiting for the next installment. Honorable Mentions A few honorable mentions this time, we had a lot of articles this month to go through. How to Get a Girlfriend in Tanki by @Yisroel.Rabin 'Real Life' Tanki by @missingknight Save the Gold - A Tanki Trend by Distinguished Members We have 2 brand new Distinguished Members, who rightly deserve their place on their intangible podium. Congratulations to... @Penguin40 @F.I.N.I.S.H.E.R Amateur Writing Club News: Our recent project, Project Perspective, received lackluster support. We hope to improve the projects, and we are currently circulating ideas. Stay tuned. And on a sadder note, we regret to announce that out friend, reporter and fellow AWC alumni @tweezers will be leaving us. We will all (hopefully) miss him as he moves on to bigger and better things, such as real life, whatever that is. I entreat you to spam him with goodbye messages. We will all miss his nugginess and his help with the flood in the spam chat, something I doubt any of us could ever replace. So a warm farewell to our good friend, pliers. And that is all we have for this Issue. Keep up the good writing work, and feel free to flood the AWS; we look forward to this next month.- 21 replies
