Maybe because I've wasted hefty amounts of time here and don't want others to do the same...? -
Guide [Issue 68] 7 Ways To Succeed With Your Helper Application

Damn. This thing is still alive? I'm surprised there are still enough people that want to be helpers... This'll probably get deleted by some admin since this game is mad cheeks, but if you're reading this, you should know that you'll be much better off not playing tanki, or minimizing the amount of time you play, at least. Your life gets a lot easier and better once you quit video games, especially silly ones like this that are dominated by kids with their parents' credit cards. To anyone who thinks that helpers are doing something for this 'game' or 'community' (it's a business, get off your high horse), well, your opinion doesn't matter, and you should probably get a check-up to make sure your head's okay; I have genuine concern for you. The people who made this game are probably the most honest people in this business nowadays, since their objectives are pretty clear, even if they've made tanki terrible, corrupt, and no fun at all. By the way, if this comment gets deleted, or some guy who thinks he's intelligent takes five hours to write a witty one-liner, well, either I've successfully 1) Triggered you, 2) Wasted your time, or 3) Proved my point, so... -
This is a good idea, but as someone who is still very unsatisfied with the fact that we can no longer complete missions in PRO battles, I think they should at least make exceptions for super missions. I'm sorry, but for the majority of the community, which is non-buyers, it's just too difficult to consistently 1) Want to play battles where you're always getting creamed by other players and 2) Actually succeed in such battles. If you're a Generalissimo or Legend and you get a 10k kills or 100k experience mission, I think it should be fair to make those able to complete in PRO battles.

[Issue 56] [Debate] Man vs. Machine: The Winner's Debate

Wonder when the Tanki newspaper will become the Tanki newspaper again... -
Really glad someone wrote an article about the changes in format battles. I too wasted my time figuring out the chances of Wasp getting 1 shotted by M3 Railgun :P Nice article.

Yizzy I want my prize to be different; if I get in the top three, you have to admit that I'm pro.

Guide [Issue 55] Dress For Success: The Paint Update
Sleek replied to Thekillerpenguin in Newspaper Archive
I think at the time of writing this article, the "V" key might not have been a factor in gameplay, as the developers may not have implemented it yet. Don't fret, though, I'm sure for the people that don't know, they'll see your comment and will be informed :P -

Fen-Harel could beat Gold at table tennis any day Nice article! :P -
I was sent here by the yellow text in the lobby chat telling me to post my options and ideas about improvements for the paint update, presumably because most of Tanki hates the update to at least some extent, me included... Anyways, I'll try to be as unbiased as possible... 1. The paints cost too much This is what really ticks people off about the update. The prices of paints is simply ridiculous. What you said about why the paints cost so much doesn't make any sense. You can't simply say that now the paints' costs are based on the looks of the paints, and that previously they were based on protections. Now, the paints not only DON'T have protection, but they cost more! That doesn't make any sense at all. The paints need to cost less than they did before, not more. Basically, my logic is if paints + protections = a certain price, then paint = a certain price - a different price (this depends on what protections the paint had before). 2. The new paints are just old ugly holiday paints That's just a bad marketing strategy, Tanki. Now no one trusts you anymore... 3. XP/BP is lame This isn't really a big deal, but it's kind of unfair that Wasp doesn't get any protection at M3, because even before the update, it had a lot of disadvantages, like low power and acceleration, and low weight. This made Wasp really easy to flip with an M2 or M3 Railgun, and when you compare a Wasp with 10% Rail protection to a standard M3 Hornet, you'll notice that for what Wasp gains in speed and maneuverability, it loses in power and weight. This means that while Wasp goes faster than Hornet, it has a more difficult time staying on its tracks (though slightly off topic, a good BP user, or Wasp user in general can mitigate this with some practice and facing their opponent the correct way) and can't stop and go in a different direction as easily as Hornet can. In fact, Wasp is really bad at stopping and going in a different direction; however, with quick turns and not stopping, Wasp doesn't have much need to go in a different direction by stopping as it doesn't need to stop moving in order to change direction/ dodge a shot. However, a lot of what I said above may contradict my opinion that Wasp should be allowed 10% protection. But remember how Winter had 5% protection from Railgun? Why don't we just give BP players a free module of 5-15% (depending on the M of the hull), so that a one shot is possible but less likely? This will teach players to be grateful to get one shots, and will also teach players where to hit the hull with the Railgun in order to get a one shot. Anyways, these were more of my opinions than actually what you should change; in short, be honest to your players about what's going on; transparency, make the costs of the paints LESS than they were before the update, not MORE, and if you want, you can give Wasp a little encouragement by giving it a little extra protection from the Fear Machine (even though I don't play BP, I thought it was kind of unfair that Wasps, especially lower ranks still learning how to use the hull, were accommodated with protection that would possibly not allow them to survive one shot from M3 Railgun.

There is no main topic. There are no other articles to read. Fen, you just wrote this to save Tanki's butt... And I'm guessing you got paid a lot to do so. The developers just want to make money off of us now, and it's all too obvious. I know, like a lot of Tanki, that you're an XP fan, so you know all about XP. You know that Tanki can ruin their entire game and bring whatever terrible updates they want into this game for the sake of making more money, but they can never mess up XP. (I'm probably gonna jinx it and they're gonna bring in an update that only lets M2s play with M2s and M3s play with M3s or some dumb idea like that). So I'm gonna go play XP lol. Nice article tho :P

Btw Ostrica told me to complain on the forum instead of in the lobby chat so I'm doing that right now lol

Say, hello, my friends, to: THE WORST. UPDATE. EVER! No but seriously whose idea was this I don't wanna pay 370k for Emerald that's literally the dumbest thing ever to be witnessed in game, considering that the paint WITH protections was 143k and now without protections it's even more than that. I can't wrap my head around that. Hopefully this update gets repealed or something. New tankers have it even worse. They didn't get to buy paints with protections, so now they're stuck with these dumb codenamed modules like "Panda" and "Kodiak". Bleah. Way to: STEAL. PEOPLE'S. MONEY!
