Although I have no other complaints (this was and probably is still one of the best tank games online), it is not good to mislead people. If a weapon is "not" a Sniper's weapon, then it shouldn't be deemed as such. Just my thoughts.

A laser beam on a Sniper's gun... Well, if they don't do something about this laser, Tanki will surely become the laughing stock of the gaming world... Going by this update, may as well bring out another one to make tanks fly - I am sure this will add to the excitement!

What they should have at least done was made a laser for night-mode only which is invisibile during the day. There is no "level the playing field" when you have a laser in the day that is visible to all around to see, due to shaft being such an easy target up close. When a sniper choses to hide in any bushes, they can only do so for a short period of time until they are spotted. Any adept player will know that there will be snipers hiding in that vicinity, because it is not like those bushes are everywhere in the map. They are only confined to a small area!

I can't believe they havn't reduced the range of the Richochet gun. So instead they decided to put a laser/reduce the wobble on shaft, making it more accurate (or effective - in that it is harder for the targeted player to escape - which is opposite to what they were trying to do with this update) and at the same time alerting everyone nearby to go in for the (here i am everbody) kill, once the laser being exhibited. Who in their right mind would want to play Shaft now. Perhaps the newbies maybe?

"Of course, we also want tankers to have a fair shot at defending themselves from Shaft's sniping attacks and dealing with it effectively". If an enemy gets you from behind with the Freeze gun, in less than a second you can't move, or turn around. How are you going to defend yourself and deal with it effectively? How is this any different to when the enemy is using shaft from afar? .... At least with the old shaft, you can still run if they happen to miss.

Due to the stupid laser, shaft has no chance against railgun in a 1v1 long range/close range battle. Bet the developers didn't test that... instead they let us be the testers

Most players here use shaft as a weapon of choice. If they don't change it back, I'm thinking players (quite a percentage) will start leaving as there is no fun in pointless blasting with the other weapons

Oh and players can defend themselves against snipers when they come back next time round, as they have an indication where said sniper is at. And It's not like getting destroyed has any detriment since it doesn't add anything to the end of game placings ( well unless they decide to make it so that first place = best win/loss ratio).

No more never knew what hit them = no more fun Isn't the point of being a sniper is to not get detected... until you fiire the shot
