    Sort of leaving

Awww, shame someone with your attitude and outlook is 'sort of' leaving, but I wholeheartedly agree that there are much more important and worthwhile things in life than this game. Through watching you develop the 'Go Pro' club, I noticed that your organisational skills and determination are very, very impressive indeed - so I'm sure you will be very successful in whatever you choose to do in the future. Best of luck to you! :)

    Early battle termination is back!

Here's an example of what I think he means - or at least, what I mean: I see a 30min battle in the list where the timer is red. I click on that battle to see the list of players. The red timer has so many seconds to go... If I join now I will cause the countdown to stop. But if the countdown stops, will there be 27mins left or 6mins left of the original 30mins? I have no idea unless I join it to find out. I like to know how much game time is left before I join a battle. Or am I missing something? :)

    Early battle termination is back!

At first glance this update does appear to be useful, but I also agree with the above point. I like to join battles with at least 10mins left, but not really more than 20mins - so although I mainly join 15min battles, I would also join a 30min battle with 10-20min left on the clock. If the timer is red, one cannot tell how much of the ORIGINAL time is left - if by joining you would be deactivating the countdown. How much time is left on a battle is a big deciding factor as to whether I want to join it or not. Maybe you need two clocks?

Why do people complain about "no kill parkour"?

I try to determine (before I join a game), if there is a proper battle going on or not by the score. If there is hardly any score at least 5 minutes into a game I assume they are a group of friends parkouring or something, and I generally won't bother them - unless I wanna sneak in quickly to pick up boxes for a daily mission. :P If I do inadvertently join a game and they say "No kill parkour" I will leave - UNLESS they shoot at me or are rude about it. If they shoot at me before or during explaining what they are doing I will kill a few before I leave. :P It is very irritating when they say "No kill parkour" and then proceed to shoot! If I'm already in a battle and new people join that just want to parkour, well that's too bad for them as I think they need to at least create their own games for that. So in summary - I don't mind players creating non Pro Pass games for parkour or just hanging out with their friends and will happily leave the game - so long as they explain politely what they are doing and it was they who created that particular game in the first place.

Episode 78 of the V-LOG is here

I think the new voice-over is downbeat, flat and even a little depressing - i.e. boring! :P Come on, surely with today's technology Semyon should be able to at least do the narration remotely somehow? Or, if that can't be done, how about letting that German community manager (sorry, don't know her name) front the v-log instead?

    Previews for paints and more

Previewing paints - excellent. Most powerful/used paints first - makes sense, excellent. Cost of micro-upgrading paints - appalling. Not being able to chose which paint parameters you wish to micro-upgrade - appalling.

    Changes to micro-upgrades

Yeah, this update has all but killed any enthusiam I had left for this game after the restrictive Score Cap update. What's the point in trying to progress when one is faced with situations as shown by the post above yours (by a7x_Pedro48) ?

25% off micro-upgrades and 50% off speed ups

As an additional thought to my previous post: Instead of 'forcing' people to buy stuff they don't want through the bundling of upgrades, why not instead offer discounts to players if they micro-upgrade all parameters at the same time? After all, you started offering discounts if players bought extra hulls and turrets of the same modification - why not incentivise micro-upgrading too? This would at least give players some choice.

25% off micro-upgrades and 50% off speed ups

Even with a sale, the prices are now extortionate in proportion to the benefits because of the bundling. Anything is too expensive when you didn't really want to buy it in the first place, i.e. parameters one is not interested in. Paints: Personally, I think things get even worse where paints are concerned. Paints are already bundled in such a way that you have to buy weak protection against certain turrets in order to get the stronger protection against other turrets. I don't know about other people, but when thinking about what paint I may want to buy in the future, the most important part is the paint with the strongest protection against the turrets that I personally feel are my biggest threat. I may feel that the weaker protection parts of it are just not worth micro-upgrading for me. What turret protection parts I think are insignificant and not worth micro-upgrading could be very important to someone else, depending on their style of gameplay - but why do we all have to now upgrade our paints in exactly the same way?!!! I really don't want to pay for upgrades that are meaningless and pointless to me.

Devs do actually listen to our ideas

I think it is quite natural human behaviour to stick with something one is not entirely happy with - simply because there is no viable alternative. This can happen in all walks of life from relationships to jobs to where you live. It's a case of something is better than nothing for many. Yes this is only a game, but it's also a social and recreational past-time which can become a habit and part of someone's routine. It's particularly difficult to quit something that you've invested a certain amount of time (and maybe real money) into. Of course, if it goes even further and one becomes really addicted - then it's very hard to just stop. If there was an identical product that had all the same features that a player liked, minus all the features they didn't - well, they wouldn't even bother complaining because they'd already be gone - particularly if they could take their hard-earned garages and crystals with them.

    Changes to micro-upgrades

If, by massive discount, you mean those that received the equivalent of the next mod because they happened to fully upgrade one parameter - well that was just lucky for them. Was this massive discount given because the Devs were feeling generous, or because there was no other way to implement the changes? Many people did not get a massive discount and any future upgrading will be extremely expensive now because it includes stuff that people don't want buy. That upsets people - seems reasonable to me. Those that suddenly found themselves with fully upgraded equipment, of course they are very happy about that, and they have said so. But I have not seen them talking about the general benefits of the new micro-upgrading update. If fact, some are even honest enough to say that although they have personally benefitted, they are against this update. And then there are those that are not happy that their carefully worked out parameters have been changed with no warning or consultation - do you not think they have a valid point? The 'Dislike' button was removed so that people would gives reasons why they didn't like something, rather than just down-voting. Well, people are doing just that - they are giving their reasons. If you can't handle that, then put the 'Dislike' button back and remove the ability to post comments.

    Changes to micro-upgrades

+ 1 to all the negative opinions re this update. Devs, I'm not sure you really understand your players. You can see by many of the comments that players are actually quite intelligent, so no need to dumb down an already fairly basic game. Before, the main problem with micro-upgrading IMO was the cost - and you've just jacked that right up! You are making the game more simplistic and child-like, but at very grown-up prices! You are taking away players personal 'connection' to their equipment by limiting individual customisation choices and making their decisions for them. You are taking something away - and charging more for that 'improvement'. "Oh but speed-ups will be cheaper" - oh please... I think the new Tanki X will probably be very limited for non-buyers.

Let's discuss CP battle mode (Capture Point)

All I can say about CP (with three points or more only) is that it used to be my favourite mode by a long way until the Score Cap was introduced. I have never really understood why multi-point CP was not more popular at higher ranks as there is so much going on that can involve all players - rather than the focus of a whole game on just a single flag. I didn't realise that the payout for CP was better than other modes - but just as well, because I prefer to join the losing side! When I first got into this mode I could enjoy great games on a nice variety of small, medium and large maps at the very low ranks - though you still had to trawl the servers to find them. The variety slowly disappeared up the ranks until Daily Missions were introduced. Things had started to improve with Daily Missions until it was well and truly ruined for me with the Score Cap update. Now multi-point CP games finish before they really get going. Hardly any 30 min games are created either. As my favorite mode has been well and truly scuppered, I'm reduced to basically just completing Daily Missions these days - of which the tediously boring DM mode comes up way too often!

    Let's Discuss Missions!

Dear Mr/Ms Developers, Please can you lower the proportion of DM missions in relation to the other game modes, and/or lower the amount of kills to 25 max - I'm begging you!!! I find them such a tediously boring grind and they seem to come up far too often! Yours Sincerely, MTB2 PS, Please can we also have some variety in the mission maps - thank you!
