hammer is a very annoying weapon now, given there aren't any paint protections. I use thunder m3 to take down hammers at mid distance by splash damaging them, but they're very lethal when near you.

quite a tactic, esp in higher levels. The ricochets are just out there to ambush by doing corner checks. Then you'll make yourswelf visible by dodging. Ricochets usually team with isida or thunder, so you could have started off being hit by a ricochet and mobbed by more tanks...

Pretty bad hull with a slow reload weapon like railgun. Being taller than most tanks gets you nowhere, and even worse, a nice big target for shafters who can't take down mammoths easily yet. Dictator is midway between viking and titan, quite slow, but very steady. What most people don't know is that thunder, twins or ricochet are great. Twins especially, because the balls fly in a parabola and higher tank equals more range, so what I usually do with dictator (that is,when i use it, which is rarely cos the speed and hp are crap) is sit somewhere inconspicuous, say on a small bridge or elevation in serpuhov, and shoot twins at tanks below.

C. You have his flag. D. He's on low health. E. He's using an annoying weapon like railgun or shaft which can one shot you.

hunter's used for camping and mid range. A thunder, twins or railgun is good with it?

Wasp is a great hull... If you hate flipping over when turning corners, fire at the opposite side of your turn. Good for parkour (and getting at high places to troll mammoths below). Would recommend using with twins, freeze, thunder or railgun. By far railgun is best cos you can run around the map sniping people. Notice the best guns except freeze are high recoil ones, but with skill it's manageable.

Hornet isn't that well defended against shafts. Also, being a light tank, it's a great target for one shotting with thunder, shaft, railgun and smoky.

For those of you out there who dislike thunder, I'd like to disagree. Sure, thunder holds up terribly in close range because of reload time and self damage but it's actually a good gun for destroying a mob. With light enough hull you can troll around and deal a lot of damage to many tanks at a go. I once trolled this twins/isida pair by killing them simultaneously multiple times. It sets twins off aim and isidas can't get you if you're fast

Railgun is my second favourite gun. Best for sniping while moving. I know that shaft lovers out there may disagree, but railgun doesn't have a scope and auto aims well. It's my second best gun for double kills (first being thunder, cos of splash) because you can line up 2 enemies and bore a hole through them in 1 shot. People say it's good with a mammoth, but personally I prefer sniping while always moving (mammoths rarely survive a good Freeze) so I use hornet or hunter with it. Word of caution: don't bother teaming with isida medics. Enemy railguns or twins usually kickass your medic while you're reloading, so it's just like sabotaging him.

I'm not really pro with a ricochet but I have taken down some really high ranked ones. Basically there are 2 types of ricochets, the campers with heavy hulls who prefer kill farming and the speedy ones esp on CTF with light hulls and usually high upgrades. The campers are best dislodged from their camping position with freeze, thunder or twins. Freeze and twins are the best because the ice and balls block vision and deal high damage. Also in lower rank the turret turns v slowly so just keep spamming. Thunder is usually for sniping ricochets from mid distance. For the faster ricochets, use railgun or shaft (shaft not recommended in high rank) + extra paint protection. Also, if you're the type that likes close range encounters, use viking or hunter with thunder/smoky. Just don't hide around corners cos smart ricochet players always do corner shots to check for enemies. Use open space to your advantage. Cooperating with an isida tank as a medic, while yourself using isida as well, works for guarding bases against ricochets.

twins seems to be a very controversial weapon in TO. I think the main reason people hate and like it is because it's kind of a spammer weapon. The knockback effect is pretty annoying but I have seen many twin/titan or twin/mammoths camping at the base in CTF just to destroy the hornets or wasps creeping in from the sides, which is basically a way of kill farming. The downside is that if you're playing in high rank maps and somebody comes in with a twin protecting paint, you're easily snubbed. People who play twins and a heavy tank like mammoth are always quite pissed at a freeze so if you hate getting twinned, you could always arm a light/medium tank with freeze and paint you can always take them out.
