Hey there. There is unfortunately nothing else for you to do other than buy the new modification. Quiet some time ago the MU system has been changed. Now you cannot MU the lower modifications once you reach a level at which the new modification unlocks. I would suggest you to not MU low modifications anyway. The difference they provide on lower Mks is pretty insignificant, especially if you play regularly and/or during the boosted experience days that are fairly common these days.

To be very honest, the nuclear supply does not seem necessary. The game is already way too much centralized around using ODs in the battle. Half of the time in battle I am spending just by dodging enemy ODs or timing my own. Yes, the supply might not be distributed in large masses, but still, it seems like adding more fuel to the fire, even if just by drops. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Usually, there is an announcement in the right down corner of browser regarding the availability of Ultra Containers in the Shop and increased chances of getting epic, legendary and exotic equipment. Since Ultra Containers are no longer available in the shop and since this announcement is gone as well, I assume the chances for rare equipment are back to their regular state.

Hello. For some time now, it’s impossible to microupgrade lower modifications once you reached the rank on which the higher modification of that particular equipment is unlocked.

I too was a bit puzzled by it at the start but then again, it's just like any other module. Critical damage and crit dependent alterations like Rail's Scout, Destab Plasma or BlunderBuss are very powerful, to the point of being at times ridiculously game breaking and Armadillo is basically the only way other than Titan's Dome to counter them. For a mechanic that has very few counters, I think that a still fairly rare Armadillo is fair countermeasure to it.
