Since it doesn't look like Tanki is willing to fix XP/BP battles any time soon I won't check the forum anymore. I will log in once a week to see if anything has changed. Bye guys! I will miss the community :( Let me know if anything changes :)

Oh, I'm perfectly able to be there. More time than ever actually. But that's why it's even worse... They ruined their game. All motivation is gone. I spent a total of €200 on some smurf accounts to make them ready for goldhunting at halloween, but with this update I won't even bother -_-

First time in 5 years that I'm missing Halloween in Tanki... Shame on you tanki!

Are there any updates on this rebalance yet? I've not been keeping up too much lately. Since I don't play anymore I find it less amusing to read the forum... Tanki has died inside of me :/

Im a little late with the reply, but first of all: the 92% was about DR format only. And regarding the rest: What are you trying to say??? I really tried to break down your comment but it gets me nowhere... I'm assuming your first sentence summarized your comment?

I agree that railgun needed a change for the lower ranks, but thats not what this is about. Over 90% of the active players is at generalissimo. And at those ranks railgun was NOT OP. And I dont agree that railgun got a buff. It might have gotten more dps, but that doesnt do it. It changed. Its a completely different gun now.

This is exactly what is the problem. I assume you dont have rail m3 yourself since you used it on the test server only. The players who have used rail m3 for years have built up skills with it. With those skills they use every shot to its utmost capabilities. Now with the fast reload it has lost most of its value. Now every noob who cant handle rail m3 will get to shot so often that it doesnt matter if he misses a shot. And thats not how XP/BP is supposed to work It SHOULD matter if you miss a shot. I agree that the decreased delay is something that we just have to get used to. It is stupid, because it was completely unnecessary (Regarding XP/BP battles), but after some time we will get used to it. The decreased reload time is another story. They could as well make a format for mammoth twins now... -_-

They must be paying you a lot to say all that stuff... Thats sad. Railgun most definitely wasn't OP. It wasn't used much in non-format battles. You are probably just getting killed by rails a lot because you are an easy target. You could just admit it instead of saying a turret is OP while in reality it is your skill that is insufficient.

I think you need to adjust your comment a little bit. The sarcasm might be hard to find for some people.

Come on don't make a fool of yourself. You clearly don't know what you are talking about. If the rails kill you before you get to the enemy base, then don't drive out in the open. Or make them miss before you drive. Or let your teammates cover you. And if they are still annoying take some rail protection. If you can't do such things then take long range turrets yourself and kill them. Or you can just choose to join a smaller map if you want to play short range

I think the game was pretty good before the update. Isida seemed a little strong, but that doesnt matter. That makes it challenging. You have to work together as a team to beat that drugging isida. I don't think any gun was OP. The paints (excuse me, protection modules. (grrr, but that update is a whole other story)) make the game balance itself out. A whole team of drugging isidas wouldnt work because everyone would take isida protection and long range weapons. And this is just one example. I don't think the game needed this update. I think the only thing that was really wrong with this game were the one shots in BP mode. You just can't make a game perfectly balanced. Some turrets or hulls will seem stronger for a while, but after some time the players will find a way to counter them. This update however was completely unnecessary. It made the nearperfect game worse.

Maybe you experience it like that, but believe me, at higher ranks it is different. I played XP/BP on a few smurf after the update hit the game and I must say the difference didnt seem to be so big then. The fast reload of rail m1 felt nice, because it is now close to the reload of m3 before the update. But in the end it doesn't improve the gameplay. As a lot of people have said before: it takes away the skill. Because, what does it matter if I miss a shot? My next shot will be ready before the enemy is here anyways!

Or take the map Parma for example. Games will take even longer now. If you trick a opponent into shooting you can move 2 parts of wall at max without being shot now. And if you are playing with more than 1v1 it will take much longer. The whole ppoint of XP/BP was being fast and dealing damage while on the move... GONE

'Dynamic gameplay' please just shut up... It makes the game mode perfect for campers. Hull speed decreased and reload speed increased. Even to me that sound like some perfect changes to start camping. You'll have enough time to kill other players before they get to you, because: 1. they are slower and 2. you can shoot more often. Another aspect is more spawn kills because of the decreased reload time and decreased delay. The enemy can shoot so often now that you dont have time to get cover.
