Yes!, underpowered, or shall we say "less powerful" and easier to find and kill because of the laser sight. I almost quit shaft after the last re-balance but decided to stick with it. I currently drive an M1 wasp/ M1 shaft and the comments still surprise me. It would seem that there are quite a few shaft haters out there. The comments have actually encouraged me to stick with it. Unfortunately I believe that the rail gun is now the dominate weapon on the battlefield. Now the railgunners don't need to worry as much . I would venture to guess that all the complaining about shaft by railgunners (especially) will eventually religate this weapon to mediocrity with further downgrades uh, I "mean re-balancing".
I don't know if anyone has considered the fact that shaft is probably the most realistic true to life modern weapon in Tanki.
