If that is true, should not go for a desktop. Desktop is for long run.

I just tried the system by creating a new account with the same name. It works well. It just takes time to get familiar with it. Now only the numbers in the nickname can change. Let's see how attractive my nickname is in the next months. Just to note that right after Tanki has changed the nickname, to r_A0 for example, it is not possible to create a new account with the nick r_A0 immediately.

Learning prog. lang. is like Tom and Jerry. It never ends. Not mentioning that we are limited by the electronic screen, while human brains are optimized for papers. Learning about the foundation of AI is more interesting to me than prog. lang. Teaching AI to program would be great though it would send a bunch to unemployment.

Long loading time and impossibility to join battles at first

In order to be sure the problem is on Tanki servers, you should retry with pristine configurations on your part. First, a pristine installation of your browser, and also other browsers too. Then comes next your OS (going to the hardware level is too far). A different computer to simulate those configurations is also OK, less accuracy of course. My opinion does not matter as much as what one gets from troubleshooting. -
Too far. It sounds like the way educators talk about children education. Just a game. Let babies be the high rankers. Still a game. The forum has converted many into pseudo-"game designers" or pseudo-"game analysts". Just my little opinion, and it could be wrong to some. On the question, I cannot answer as I am off this game.

For news websites heavy to my laptop such as pcworld, both firefox and chrome make my laptop hot. I go for text-based web browser, Elinks, Links, etc. and forget about ads, js, etc. For medium and light weight sites like Wikipedia, mails, i use midori with a down-to-earth versioning scheme, 0.x.x style. For firefox and chrome, i will wait until people cannot remember what version number their browsers are on. And i hate those super slow javascript-based pdf reader.

When they began to stop concentrating on TO flash, that is the time some players can have real healthy fun.

The question is about gathering information of the computer that belongs to him and is similar to the computer in the link. All the above answers, except one or two, are targeting buying the computer in the link, which is not in his intention. No comments. To the op, the easiest way is to open the case and read the info tags sticked on the HDD, PSU , RAM , CPU, etc., next is to contact IBM. Then you should try asking people if all else fails. About the link above : The heart of the computer is the PSU. And it seems that the link lacks that info as I skim its description.

Please tell me that one must be a game developer to fully understand that using the same excuse more than 3 times to postpone answering is a part of a professional game developer or any kind of business deals.

Objectional Campaign Against DEVs have reduced the Daily missions' crystals

I wonder if the second quote really possesses the qualities of the first quote. If it doesn't, it is quite strange on how the words of that first quote can land on this topic at the first sight. Please tell me that I am missing some facts, something real. -
"... I'm saying we don't do a new version to fix bugs. We don't. Not enough people would buy it. You can take a hundred people using Microsoft Word. Call them up and say "Would you buy a new version because of bugs?" You won't get a single person to say they'd buy a new version because of bugs. " Bill Gates's quotes. 23 October 1995.

Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)
r_stdin0 replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
My Theory : Previous TO Flash was so good that TO Unity could not be as successful. Hence, by introducing more gameplay buggy updates in TOF (score caps, maybe low daily missions rewards), spoiling the game as much as possible, they can put reworked versions of those updates in TOU and when those are combined with other new candies, people will be inclined to joining their "free" transferring plan. I'm afraid there are some costs of switching to TOU, so they are trying to make benefits outweighing the costs. This is one step towards it. -
Please don't put yourself into the defensive position. They take it that way because your point is too generic, with nothing to support. It would be great to provide us with some background knowledge, or introduce some sources for us to read. I myself find addiction easy to be solved by changing the environment, the further the better, based on my personal experiences. And I have not been into any psychology courses.

The theory of inflation could have been accepted with the appropriate data. Let the laws of economics work. When the curve of revenue plummets and chases Tanki, they will automatically be apologizing, opening sales, free crystals, hundreds of "please", etc. . I think we don't need to react spontaneously furiously. Actually, devs are the only ones that have only 1 full-time job to work, while players have many options to pick from. We should hold the upper hand. Don't let them play us. I don't need to inform Tanki that they are not doing good. Let them shoot themselves. We can watch it with a cup of coffee. Just don't try to be a part of it.

As windows 10 is the last of the windows products, i will use windows XP for the next 50 years for compatibility and GNU Linux for the next 70 years. The idea of an OS requiring at least 1GB RAM for a normal user to be able to check emails, browse the web, view docs, pdfs at the same time to me is just plain ridiculous.

Just get out of the house in the morning and come home late at night to have dinner and sleep. Leave laptops, tablets home. Game addiction solved.

It seems deprecating island map is a part of devs' jobs. Well done, devs. +1 -
Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)

5k to escape this mess. Why not ? Low ranks ? You'd better play a better game. Low ranks = future of Tanki. By leaving, Tanki has no future and will die slowly, which is good by the way. A game like this should die soon to make way for a better game. -

You can see now timer just sits there as a fallback mechanism. And score caps take the lead as the main switch to end most battles. It seems that devs are telling us timer cannot be trusted. In other words, timer is buggy. That means Tanki code is buggy, and Tanki devs can't fix it. This is not the first time i smell the incompetence of Tanki devs.
