[DGoD]TheOmegaWolf - Totally unacceptable langauge
ollooIIo replied to ollooIIo in [DGoD]TheOmegaWolf - Totally unacceptable langauge Game Violation Reports
Hello ! Please block those players who bother you by putting them on Ignore list and you won't see them again DO NOT report Chat Violations in this section Before creating a topic , Please read : *** GAME VIOLATIONS SECTION RULES *** -
I know it's the weekend and the servers will be busier than during weekdays BUT ... hallelujah! The battles I played in today with the new, reduced battle length occasionally lost players but these players were replaced by others very quickly so that the battle was barely affected by those dropping out. Super!

Leaving a battle to avoid being destroyed is sabotage. By definition, sabotage defines itself to include obstruction and any player that obstructs another with the intention of sabotaging the battle is committing an offence according to Tanki's own rules. If, while in the process of destroying an opponent, that opponent decides to leave the battle and the immediately rejoin it, he obstructs not only the player that is engaged in the immediate fight but also his own team; surely it can not benefit his own team is he leaves and rejoins over and over again. So my question is, what is being done about such behaviour? After all, sabotage is an action ".. that will lead to (at the Administration’s discretion) the permanent or temporary blocking of a User’s Account" Had I kept a note of those that behave in such an unfair manner, I'd have a list as long as my arm. Here are recent some pathetic players that sabotage, and ruin the game by leaving to avoid being destroyed:-

Well it's all swings and roundabouts then isn't it because I was quoted 58s for a battle but waited only a couple of seconds before joining.

Click the 'Battle list' button. Click 'Create' and select from the options presented to you (No pro pass needed) Click 'Start' Invite your friends (if you have any)

And there was me thinking that missions were a BONUS ... stated in a giant font with some CAPS thown in for visual effect.

The only satire I see is mockery of parody.

I love this matchmaking feature! No more cherry picking battles and joining the winning team, knuckling down to fight and earn those mission goodies rather than just turn up and exploit an exiting battle out of selfishness. No mults (as far as I can tell), full teams, battle map surprises and not knowing who's going to be on the team. Also the extended maps are wonderful. To me it feels like it used to feel at the time when I first started playing Tanki (minus the crude obscenities, for the most part!)

I agree that finding battles can be an issue and having to trawl around for a sutiable game is a nuisance but I think you'll find that most pro-battles happen on one or two servers (for some reason); it used to be RU1 but no appears to be EU1. Nevertheless, I'll put a stop to your digression and swing it back round to your original comment about 'throwing drugs on each other' and 'destroying what makes a game', this isn't about battle selection is it, LittleWillie. It's about your grievences of the supplies feature ... that is where you are coming from .... and to that I say, use a pro pass to create you own battles and invite your friends, if you have any. That's all I have to say.

Your response has absolutely nothing to do with my answer! Nobody, except you, is making a reference to finding battles on servers. Of course, you have omited the quick, easy, obvious solution: create a pro-battle yourself. This is so-so simple and only takes a moment to do that even you could do it!

Pro battles have the feature to remove supplies, does it not?

A wacky idea I had was is the Magnapull. Its effect is to magnetise your tank so that you end up pulling an opponent towards you (or pushing it away from you, depending on polarity). This would be especially effective in CTF battles where a large tank is sitting on a flag and you need to dislodge it. Its effect wouldn't be too great unless used by several tanks simultaneously, such as Overdrive where having several team mates in close proximity would increase its effect.
-
Develop Overdrive so that it has two functions: the current 'Zero' supply mode which provides supplies to teammates within a radius with the addition of a feature that neutralises any active Overdrive in play. The effect would render an opponents use of Overdrive immediately ineffective but not remove the ability to employ Overdrive. By having this additional feature it would involve greater tactical thinking to employing Overdrive. In a instance where one team member utilises Overdrive, an opponent could then employ Overdrive themselves immediately neutralising their opponents use of Overdrive. Of course, any team members nearby could emply Overdrive again which you lead to a to rapid depletion of Overdrive for both sides.

Luuuurrvve the chat bit at the bottom of the image attachment ... lol.

What I see now is the return of players jumping into battles, scooping up all the supplies without any intention of participating. This aspect of the patch update does not appear to have been considered properly. Please reconsider it.
