Take the camera apart to get o the circuit board and components inside. Find the smashed USB connector, check if any damage was done to the circuits it was connected to. If yes, repair using solder/soldering iron. Then take the old USB connector off by de-soldering the connections (eat the solder until it melts). Replace it with a new one, then after making necessary connections check if it works :)
